22.01.2022 How lucky are we! Something very special about RAS, is the amazing members we get to meet with the tag and the brilliant Passport. This afternoon I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Trevor Mace #12 and his wonderful wife Jenny! Macey and Jenny are Top-shelf and were so much fun to be with. I can feel a road trip building for a visit to the south coast and Tathra! at Boorowa Hotel

19.01.2022 Great to catch up with Keiran Hearne again! I first met Keiran when he was working on Bango Wind Farm doing his best to protect any wiradjuri interests. Keiran has walked from Jarvis Bay picking up a weeks work and is on the way to Koorawatha for some more work! Awesome effort and what a great way to experience and feel the land and expanse of the Australian country! If you spot Keiran, say G’day!

18.01.2022 Fresh from their impromptu Top Pub Fashion Show, judged by the world famous in Boorowa judge...my wife Young! These lads and ladesses are from Stanwell Tops and are enjoying their two year course of outdoor education participating in the likes of abseiling, navigation, hiking and enjoying Australia’s national Parkes. If COVID does not intervene, there is an overseas component of travel that see’s each student learn great leadership qualities and achieve a Certificate 3 in Education. Ha, to be fair, these party exponents had just finished 7 milkshakes!

13.01.2022 Today was Duel Stamper day, an absolute cracker! I wondered out into the beer garden and had the pleasure of meeting #203 Greg Metcalfe and Jo fresh from their local the ‘Golden Barley’ in Marrickville. Greg had set his road trip sights on being in Temora for another Passport stamp at the World Famous in Temora ‘Shamrock Hotel and Motel!’ We were also lucky enough to have house guest Matt Walters #2085 who’s local is the Stones Corner Hotel next to Woolloongabba (The Gabba...!) in Brisbane,. Matt spent a brilliant afternoon here in Boorowa (like Greg) gaining two stamps in his Passport..the RSL and of course the Top Pubs! Matt is a sporting guru and a purveyor of the finest nectar! We spent an enjoyable evening chatting over a few cold ones before the threatening midnight chime persuaded Matt to head upstairs! feeling delighted at Boorowa Hotel. See more

12.01.2022 https://youtu.be/aNwxY4_-YAs We had the pleasure of catching up with Chris CK Fisher Keeble...aka, the "Barbering Biker" on her visit to Boorowa. Chris promotes local legend and fellow Barber Bert McMahon, Bertie cuts the communities hair for just a small donation and actually visits those in their homes that are unable to travel. Bertie is the reason that Boorowa, as a community is so strong, that wonderful 'service above self!' Chris also used her Barbering skills to make over local legend Andrew Diskin!
