14.01.2022 Topshelf tiling renovations have just completed a high end bathroom and laundry renovation in Trigg Beach Lots of preparation went into this job including removal and bricking up Windows removing and reinstalling new timber door frame and doors. Even concreting the floor under the existing tiles there was no solid foundation. No expense was spared on this beautiful simplistic design of bathroom completed with rectified Matt White ceramic wall tiles and porcelain rectified ter...razzo Tiles. The Masterpiece of the room is a beautiful solid wood cabinetry made from Eastern black butt finished with 40 mil rugged concrete Caesarstone top and 20 mil Caesarstone niche/shelf. We also supplied the Beautiful brushed gunmetal milli pure tapware and accessories including heated towel rail and exposed copper outdoor shower. Finished off the room with satin series light switches and gpo's. And frameless shower screen with powder coated gun metal brackets. We also incorporated work to their laundry with built-in overhead cupboards around a new fridge recess and washing machine recess also finished with solid black butt top. And so much more. 14.01.2022 Waterproofing is such an important system in the tiling procedure. Problems can be catastrophic if not competently applied, have confidence in top shelf and their ability, with recognition by Davco for competence with k10 and k10+

09.01.2022 As most of us know the complications that can arise from poor or inadequate waterproofing to add to my Davco accreditation here is my Ardex accreditation. These are just to ensure to my customers my ability do waterproofing in the correct Manor. And ensure support by the supplier if a malfunction was to take place. 02.01.2022 Here's something to think about when planning on spending money to renovate your biggest asset (your home). You may have saved for a long period to be able to afford a "beautiful main floor" but you might feel overwhelmed with the decision of who to chose for your "beautiful main floor". Although there might be big variations in price from several tilers, I feel it's important to remind people that it's just like everything in life "you get what you pay for" and if it seems t...oo good to be true... it probably is. Often, choosing the cheapest quote can lead to costing much more. Or a painful legal process to recover the cost of the "beautiful floor gone wrong" Here is a short video of "beautiful main floors" gone wrong. Note how easily the tiles come off the floor - that's because they were not properly stuck down. Shoddy workmanship like that can cause a hollow sound when walking, tiles cracking and tiles lifting.
