24.01.2022 Update: Due to the ongoing issues due to covid19, we are having to cancel the MAY race meet at this point. If there is any changes we will update you asap!

24.01.2022 Hi all, here we are at the end of another year and unlike no other year we are only now having our 1 and only event for 2020. In saying that we did manage to run 2 T&T’s but we can only look forward to better times ahead for 2021. As you would have seen the new rules managing COVID have capped out door numbers to 50 people. We will be running this weekends event under very strict conditions as we have become a custom to over the past 8 months. As a result the event numbers a...re being managed directly with conversations with Angelo as we need to create a COVID safe plan that controls numbers, registers attendees on arrival and our COVID Officer will ensure that the entire event is run according to the documented controls. Drivers and support crews need to make contact with Angelo prior to discuss what is required on arrival so we can run a COVID safe event. If you haven’t arranged to attend prior I would ask that you don’t just come to the track as this will be difficult for us to manage. We will also be running the 2020 AGM on Sunday at lunch time so please PM me if you would like to nominate for a position on the new committee as all roles will be open for nominations. The list of nominations will be read out at the AGM where the vote will be counted and the new committee elected. Regards, Andrew Doyle President

21.01.2022 Who else can’t wait for this too all be over so when can get back to the track!! We hope all are safe and well!

18.01.2022 Hi all, Slowly, slowly we will come back to full strength, but for now we are working with what is allowed. Welcome to the Jones brothers and Andy Alford along with a few of the regular TORC machines.

18.01.2022 Good evening all, I hope you are spending this time to work on your machines so when the restrictions are lifted we will have one hell of an event whenever that is. For those members that have already paid for a 2020 annual memberships, Angelo has been in touch with them to arrange a refund or a credit for a 2021 membership. Thank you to everyone that has opted to take the credit. ... Regards, Andrew

18.01.2022 Andy Alford on the gas starting to test the new machine. She goes alright mate.

17.01.2022 Sean Byers was giving it a red hot go early in the T&T

16.01.2022 Hi all, Thank you to everyone that responded to Angelo in a timely manner to discuss the format for the T&T on Sunday 28 June. If you haven’t already made arrangements with Angelo to attend regretfully we have filled the maximum number of spots under the current Victorian rules. I would like to thank everyone for your patience and continued support and we all look fwd to getting back to running normal events in the coming months. ... Just a reminder to those that are attending to only come if you are fit and well and if you feel sick please contact Angelo to let him know and above all don’t come to the track! If you haven’t already made arrangements with Angelo to come, don’t come to the track, June is not a spectator event and every driver will be coming on their own without a pit crew or family or friends. Thank you for your support and understanding. Regards, Andrew President

14.01.2022 Hi all, We’ve had a couple of calls from people wanting to come along on Sunday to watch. Unfortunately we are still operating under very strict conditions from the Victorian Government and our governing body. If you haven’t been confirmed as attending following a conversation with Angelo, please, please don’t just show up and expect that we will be happy to see you. But once restrictions ease in the coming months we can get back to normal operation with family and guests we...lcome - now is not that time. Thanks for your continued support Regards, Andrew

12.01.2022 The track was awesome in most parts but still a little unpredictable and kept you on your toes

11.01.2022 Hi all, Well it’s been a difficult time for everyone over the past 3 months and we still have a way to go yet. We have been in discussion with our key stakeholders with the view to run a restricted test and tune event at Kyneton on the 28 June. As we are in transition to the new normal we have decided to run a closed members only T&T event at our home track at Kyneton. With Victorian Government restrictions expected to ease on the 22 June it will still be very difficult to ...manage an event even being reduced to a single day T&T. A text will be sent to members only that will outline how the event will be managed. Unfortunately visitors and non members will not be able to attend and we will provide further details to those members that provide feedback that they will be attending. It is important that we know who will be attending so please respond to the text. Looking ahead to July we expect that we will be back to normal with a T&T and race weekend, however we need to be flexible and agile to work with our governing body and follow government rules and guidelines. In the meantime keep tinkering away on those machines and we will be back bigger and better than ever in the coming months. Regards, Andrew Doyle President

10.01.2022 Just a reminder to check the date stamp on your belts, and don’t forget to inspect the condition and fitment or this might be you

06.01.2022 UPDATE: Bagshot cancelled. We are disappointed to announce that bagshot Enduro is cancelled, we completely support Bendigo car clubs decision and hope that we are invited back to run with them in the near future! Bendigo car club statement: https://bendigocarclub.com.au/event/covid-19-postponements/... BUT for the dates 27th and 28th of we are hopping to run a T&T/ race meet at Kyneton. We are still awaiting for announcements from the government on the 20/6 to see what changes will be made to see where we stand. So please keep this date free! We are doing all we can so we can get back to racing

06.01.2022 32 having a little rest

06.01.2022 Announcement! We are still hoping to run our November race meet if all goes well in the coming weeks with Covid-19 restrictions hopefully being eased. New dates are 27th to 29th of November. ... Fingers crossed we can go racing again soon!

03.01.2022 Hi everyone, well with COVID restrictions in Vic easing to a point we’re we can see light at the end of the tunnel, we will be running our end of year November meeting! With the state borders still closed we have pushed the scheduled meeting back 1 week to the 28 -29 November to give the interstate members the opportunity to attend. The format for the event will be registration, scrutineering followed Test & Tune up to lunch on Saturday followed by some novelty events simila...r to last year. From the feedback we received everyone enjoyed mixing up the format and it then allows us to launch into Sunday racing format. Due to COVID restrictions camping won’t be allowed on site and we will be following State and Shire guidelines regarding WHS & COVID controls. Accommodation options are available in Kyneton and camp grounds are also available in Macedon only 20 min down the road. Sunday will be a standard race format with classes dependant on numbers and of course gathering restrictions. However we will plan for as many heats we can pack in on the day with the Spittoon of Speed the final event at the end of the day. We are also planning to hold the AGM to elect a new committee at lunch time on Sunday, so if you are interested in a position please PM me and I would be happy to discuss role descriptions and duties. Angelo will be sending out an SMS seeking your level of interest and attendance, so please respond ASAP so we can then create the program and refine our COVID control plan. This event is open to all TORC members, and as I have said, we will also need to comply with health rules and measures so please respond to Ang and he will provide those intending to come with updates. It’s been a frustrating year all round, so let’s focus on this event and put 2020 behind us and look forward to better times in 2021! Regards, Andrew Doyle President TORC Off Road Racing Club.

02.01.2022 Due to covid-19, we have had to cancel the April race meeting (round 2) We will keep you updated! And as soon as we can go racing again, we will announce it straight away!
