22.01.2022 Big day today! Subaru started playing knock knock jokes, time to dismantle to see what's what!

21.01.2022 Davo's r31 in and out in under 5 days, Dave gave us a rolling r31 shell a rb25de neo and a 25det gearbox and told me he wanting to see it together and in the car running by the time he come and seen me next. Sure enough we managed to get it done minus a couple little bits and pieces in 4.5 days from drop off.

16.01.2022 This is a prime example of why scheduled services are key, along with using the correct oil etc etc.. This Avalon come in for a service and a general check up. She had a slight tick up top, nothing bad, so we went ahead and removed the covers to check lifters etc.. Well.. all we could say was 'Toyota done well' Keep safe guys, we've got a great weekend ahead of us and just remember, keep those services in check

10.01.2022 We have been flat out recently! Hence why we were on the tools all weekend! This vy come in for the dreaded ls oil leaks that no one could figure out. It's clear as days of where exactly it was coming from, somewhere you couldn't visually see until the engine is out and split away from the trans.... Main culprit being the CAS (crank angle sensor) along with the front & rear crank backing plates, someone has had a go at replacing the sump gasket at some point hoping to solve the issue however the front and rear plates weren't butted up against the sump firmly.. causing further leaks and not rectifying the issue at all All in all, small leaks from various places all add up to leaking litres of oil throughout a one week span. Reassembly tomorrow with Genuine Holden parts + a few extra goodies and a full service

09.01.2022 Some BTF goodness went into one of All Smazh's exploders today.. had to be done to accomadate for the 5 inch lift that has injected into this rig. Yeah.. it goes alright for a ford.. :P

08.01.2022 Weekend spent working on one of our personal cars; building a working stock gearset out of a couple damaged boxes we had laying around whilst we wait for parts to arrive for our straight cut gear set Only 4th gear synchro and hub was toast on rear shaft in photo.. 4th on the front shaft was in really good condition though 2nd and 3rd synchro's are no longer functional.. So.. pulled apart both input shafts and made a good one out of both ... Reassemble tomorrow and back in the car hopefully by the end of the day

07.01.2022 Great weekend for a cheeky rb swap in this s13 , wiring and a few bits and pieces to piece together and she shall be up and running stay tuned!

06.01.2022 Little progress made on the shop 13 today, underbody stripped, pressure cleaned and coated.. looking a bit tidier now Reassemble time tomorrow with all the fruit! #weekendvibes #shop13 #drifthack #ca18de

05.01.2022 Busy week this week on the tools, old swifty come in with a snapped timing belt and a blown head gasket.. luckily the valves weren't damaged as a result of the timing belt.. $110 later in parts and she was brought back to life running better then ever! Please note, no machining was done to the head for 2 reasons. 1. customer just needed a quick fix and 2. There was not a whole heap of run out or warpage on the head surface itself. Happy weekend!
