21.01.2022 One more sleep until I'm back here! Join me tomorrow at 7pm to come home to this beautiful space and more importantly, to ourselves.

13.01.2022 "Wander and wander to the point of exhaustion, Whirl until you lose all control, Dance until you are ready to drop. Then drop!... Fall to the Earth. Surrender to the swirl of sensations Surging through your form. Dissolve in awe as arising energies Continue to dance in your inner world. Beyond motion and commotion, Become the body of ecstasy." -The Radiance Sutras As shared via @kate.henry.yoga in a beautiful class this morning. Perfect words for my Monday morning. I hope that in your day and week ahead you find such joy, in both the big and small moments, that when you go to bed at night you can rest in the sweetness of a life well lived.

05.01.2022 Alignment This week we're looking at alignment, specifically looking to alignment as a point of inquiry. Paying attention to our bodies and the way we move is a beautiful stepping stone to paying attention to our values and how we show up in the world. So let's unite body and mind together and walk out into the week ahead tall and proud! Yoga Space Gippsland tonight at 7pm & tomorrow we groove at 6pm

03.01.2022 I repeat to myself over and over as I try to keep up with the ever changing rules of the game my kids made up...

01.01.2022 Life is a process of letting go. I rember reading that somewhere once and being shocked by the message. "What do you mean I need to let go!? Isn't the whole purpose of life to keep holding on, climbing the ladder until success and riches come my way!? Then I'll find a 'perfect' partner and we'll live happily ever after with our picture perfect children."... What I couldn't comprehend then is that 1. That's actually no way to live. Our obsession with perfection is what's making us feel so bad, and 2. To let go is not to do away withour purpose or dreams for the future, it is simply to allow what ever happens, happen. It's understanding that things don't always work out and even if they don't the world won't stop turning and nor will you. A new path/adventure/lover will be waiting for you, perhaps one you'd never have thought possible without having let go of your first choice. We are taught from so young how to hold on to perfection that we never gave a second thought to how it might feel to let go. Is there somewhere in your life that you're holding on? What would it feel like to loosen the grip?
