13.01.2022 On May 7th, 2018 we held our annual Invitation Day and in beautiful weather, a great day was had by all. Our 1 green was filled and there was a lot of laughter out there as old friends greeted each other, and new friends were made. Spiders raised $48 for charity, and prizes for closest bowls went to Lyn Robertson from Redhead, and Kay Riley from Gwandalan. Winners on the day were from Rathmines- Gisella Maude,(sk), D. Werner, V. Samuels and J.Wilkinson. Runners Up from Lowlands - M. Wilson (sk), C. Leo, J.Wilkinson and J.Sharpe. Consolation prizes went to Skip, D. Grace, Dora Creek. Third, L.Douglas, Rathmines. Second , B. Bennett, Valentine. Lead, K. Jones Gwandalan. As usual the Workers Club put on a huge meal for us, which was complimented on by our visitors.Hope to see you all back next year.

06.01.2022 After a hard fought game lasting well over 3 hours, the final of the Club Minor Singles Championship is over. Winner was Kay Elbourne, and Runner Up was Mary Downey. Final score was 26 - 24, after many tied scores.Congratulations to Mary, who has only been playing for less than a year. Next year it should be your turn Mary.
