23.01.2022 From our garden, to our kitchen, to our tummies. The children in our Kindness Room have been harvesting some of the vegetables they have grown in their garden to make delicious healthy salads. Having the children involved in the process of growing their own vegetables has certainly encouraged them to try new and healthy foods. #telc

22.01.2022 Thank you to Peaches Fruit market for having our Friendship room children. The children loved coming to sample some of the fresh produce as well as make some purchases of different fruits to bring back to the centre to try for afternoon tea. #telc

22.01.2022 ~ TeLC masterchefs ~ Our Kindness children spent time with our centre cook Sharon, rolling and making their own pasta for lunch. They then used freshly picked herbs and vegetables from our garden to have with their meal. #TeLC

21.01.2022 The children in our Kinder room have been discussing the current fires across Australia and talked about how they could help. Baking some delicious biscuits and truffles was what they decided which will now be available to purchase today and next week.

21.01.2022 This week our master chefs have been busily preparing some yummy treats to sell in hope to show our support for the cancer council through our biggest morning tea. Together we have raised over $300. Thank you to all our families who have helped support a worthy cause. #telc

18.01.2022 Celebrating the 5th anniversary today of the dedication/opening of TeLC on 11th August 2013.

17.01.2022 Unfortunately we have had to postpone our Car boot Sale. Please watch this space to be kept up to date with when our the new date will be. Despite this change the children are still very eager to continue cooking throughout the week. Their baked goods will be available from the foyer of the centre for anyone to purchase. Thank you to those who had shown interest in holding a stall.

11.01.2022 We are all ready for the warmer weather here at TeLC with our brand new childrens T-shirts available to purchase from the front office. T-shirts are available in red and navy and in sizes 2 and 4

11.01.2022 We have had a very busy week this week with our NAIDOC week celebrations. The children enjoyed a visit from Xavier at Wildlife Xposure and were able to see some of our Native animals up close. Other activities from throughout the week included sculpting some very cute little echidnas, dot paintings and looking at some of the indigenous symbols #telc #WildlifeXposure

10.01.2022 We have certainly noticed a change in the weather this week but we still love to make the most of our outdoor playgrounds. What a beautiful view we had today with a rainbow going right across our outdoor play spaces #telc.

09.01.2022 This week the children have been practicing using tools to make their own robot people. If you have any recycled materials such as wood, boxes and bottles lids please collect them for us. A collection box will be located at the entrance of TeLC

08.01.2022 TeLC will be supporting the cancer council with our biggest morning tea served and available tomorrow for a gold coin donation. All our children and educators in each room have been busily preparing lots of yummy treats to share. Please feel free to call in and help support a worthy cause. #biggestmorningtea

08.01.2022 Friendship have utilized the space at the back of the centre and had a fire pit and camping experience today. We took out the guitar and music and danced around. We made damper and roasted marshmallows and enjoyed our lunch around the campfire. We also had a camping lotto game, where children were in pairs and had to find several items in the space, with some very excited winners.

06.01.2022 We certainly like to make the most of all weather conditions here at TeLC. As the hail fell yesterday the children watched, touched and collected the hail stones that suddenly came falling from the sky. Many were interested and wondered what it would taste like so cups of the hail stones were passed around and conversation were had about what hail feels and tastes like.
