14.01.2022 The restrictions we announced yesterday for our caravan park guests living in hotspot areas have now been updated. We made the decision based on what we thought was best for our staff, guests and local communities.... We have now updated our decision based on advice from the Chief Health Officer and will welcome all guests, including our Twelve Month Permit holders back into our parks. But please remember, if you feel unwell you should stay at home. If you have symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19), however mild, you should get tested. 11.01.2022 Thank you so much everyone for your support and patience whilst we navigate our park reopening. We are doing the best we can to communicate to you all the current changes and government restrictions, but please note this is a very fluid situation and things are changing every day without notice. As it currently stands: As of yesterday Monday June 1, we have welcomed our Twelve Month Permit holders back, and we are looking forward to seeing you all over the coming weeks. We ha...ve also opened a small number of our cabins. From this Friday 5 June camp sites are available to book for caravans and campervans. Toilets and playgrounds are open. 08.01.2022 From midnight tonight, Torquay Foreshore Caravan Park will now be closed following greater restrictions on non-essential travel. No further bookings will be taken and all existing bookings up until 31 August 2020 will be cancelled and refunded in full.... Our caravan park team is in the process of advising current guests that they are required to leave the park. We understand that this is inconvenient and frustrating for our guests, but we ask for patience and to work with our team as we enact these changes. We will be contacting people who have upcoming bookings to arrange full refunds and will also be notifying Twelve Month Permit holders separately. We will keep our caravan park closed until we receive further government advice. So, we decided to donate all of our chocolate eggs (about $1600 worth) to Feed Me Surfcoast to make sure no little boys or girls in our community missed out on the magic of Easter. Feed Me Surf Coast does a great job of distributing spare food and excess produce to those who need it most, no questions asked. Have spare food to donate? From 1 June our self-contained cabins will be available for stays, and our Twelve Month Permit holders will be allowed back into our parks. From 5 June (just in time for the long weekend!) our camp sites will be available for all self-contained caravans and campervans.
