Clancy belongs to Dr Kate, unfortunately Clancy’s other cruciate had a partial tear as well, so today saw her back in for another surgery. Surgery was great, she was our star patient and recovered beautifully. Now on to the rehab!...

18.01.2022 Polydactyly - extra toes. This is not an uncommon occurrence in Rottweilers and some other breeds. If left alone and not removed, these extra appendages VERY commonly catch and tear causing a LOT of damage. This becomes quite the emergency, with a very large blood vessel involved here. It is much safer to remove them during a routine desexing rather than waiting for the accident to happen.

17.01.2022 Meet Tia Veterinary Nurse Tia studied her Certificate IV in Veterinary nursing at the Gordon and graduated late 2019. ... Before completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, she previously studied a certificate II and III in Animal Studies, while completing short online animal courses at the same time. Tias two pet loves are Leo a Maltese Shih Tzu X Pomeranian and Socksy a large domestic medium haired cat. Tia also loves caring for and fostering kittens that arrive at the clinic and getting them ready for adoption to their forever homes. Tia is Currently studying a course in animal behaviour and plans to study further into emergency nursing, pathology and critical care. Tias Favourite thing about being a nurse is being able to help and care for all creatures of many different sizes and species, assisting in surgery and the continued wellbeing of our furry family members. Tias favourite position as a nurse is assisting with hospital cases around the clinic and gaining more knowledge every day while helping our patients feel comfortable and safe.

She has worked in a number of small animal practices in and around Sydney, including at the Bondi Vet with Dr Chris Brown. Jess has a passion for travel which has taken her to veterinary pursuits in the US, Vietnam, Cambodia and Angola. ... In 2014 she moved to the UK where she worked as a veterinary locum. This is also where she met her fianc and they decided to make Torquay their home in 2019. When not at work, Jess enjoys spending time with her young family and rescue cat, Woody.
