How lucky are we to have long standing, passionate and dedicated educators. Jayne is such a valued member of our incredible team at Kids Club Torquay and we would like to say thank you for continuously providing exceptional love and care to all of our children, whilst supporting their development through rich learning experiences.

Our beach Kinder program provides an opportunity for the children to safely explore their natural environment and develop their self confidence, team work and social skills! Today we all worked together to build tunnels and caves in the sand, we also made sand angels and some of our children enjoyed being mermaids!

09.01.2022 Did anyone see us en route to Fishos beach today?! Our beach Kinder sessions are a fantastic way for our Shark children to connect and engage with the natural environment and land through free & inquiry based play. We are so lucky to be in such a beautiful part of the world!

07.01.2022 At the beginning of the year, Kids Club applied for a grant of $1000 from Landcare Australia and we were successful! We won the grant to put towards creating a native, sensory garden out the front of the Centre where the children can spend time in small groups observing, exploring, sitting and just being in nature. The Shark children requested somewhere secret, so, behold our secret garden! When the plants grow a bit more it should make the space feel more secret and bushy. We hope you like it and get to have a wander during drop off/pick up times. Thanks to our wonderful educators and children who dedicated their time and skills to help create the space! Ps- can you spy an ant or turtle in the space?

03.01.2022 Last week the Dolphins children had the privilege of visiting the Torquay college environmental centre! This was a very exciting excursion for us as we often have discussions with the children about insects, bugs and many other creatures living within our natural environments, so it was fabulous for our children to have the opportunity to have these close interactions with some special creatures. It was so lovely to see the school children present the animals to our group, they told us all about where the creatures lived and what they ate. A big thank you to Torquay college for having us, this is definitely an excursion we will be repeating next year.
