These fires are almost seven times what the Amazon fires were and only growing. Towns are being evacuated, running out of food, water and petrol. Half a BILLION animals burnt alive, the rest left with burnt pads and fur. Our native Koalas are goin...g extinct. This could last for months longer. The Torquay pharmacy have donated $5,000 to support bushfire relief. As a community we can all help so we have set up a donation tin in store to raise money because any amount will make a difference.

19.01.2022 Here at Torquay Pharmacy we are doing everything possible to stay open in the next coming weeks. As Healthcare workers we are now wearing masks to try and protect ourselves from infection , eg not touching our faces after handling money etc. Our biggest concern is that all staff will be affected. This is a big concern for us as we pack weekly medication packs for local nursing homes, retirement villages and many elderly, people on dialysis, cancer patients etc We are asking o...ur community to not enter the store if having any symptoms of cold or flu, but to wait at front door and we will come and serve you , or call us on 5261 2270, we are offering free delivery to those affected or self isolating.
