20.01.2022 Two years ago we excitedly welcomed our very first guests to @torquaysandsbeachhouse for the Melbourne Cup Long Weekend! I remember the excitement of setting everything up ‘just so’ and greeting the guests on arrival. The anticipation of receiving that first bit of feedback, and seeing their review on @Airbnb was a triumphant feeling, and I still feel the same spark every time someone chooses our property and shares their experience with others. We’ve learnt so much, welcom...ed guests from all over the world, and feel a great sense of satisfaction being recognised and verified in the @airbnb_plus program. Thanks to everyone who has encouraged us, stayed with us, and supported other local businesses during their stay on the Surf Coast.

03.01.2022 Today marks the 100th birthday of the Great Ocean Road. This feat of engineering was constructed by World War I returned servicemen, who built the 243- kilometre road, joining the isolated towns lining the western Victorian coastal towns. We are fortunate to live at the start of the Great Ocean Road, and have travelled along its route countless times. We are grateful for those who built the road, the history and the impact it had on the surrounding towns to meet the demand of tourism. @nino_klapcic.
