The timing belt is part of the system that operates the engine's valve train and as with other parts of your vehicle needs to be maintained and does require regular replacement. Far too often the timing belt is left without maintenance past the recommended replacement intervals. It may not be the actual belt that fails but the timing belt idler bearings or the tensioner. The water pump sends the coolant through your engine to take the heat away from the combustion chamber and then makes its way to the radiator. Once cooled it is recirculated back into the engine. ... 04.01.2022 Driving a manual car means that you have a clutch. Symptoms of an unwell clutch may be: Clutch slips and does not transfer the power from the engine to the wheels... or the clutch seems to stick and won't release properly. It is only when the clutch disc slips against the flywheel that wearing happens. So if you slip the clutch a lot you are going to wear out your clutch at a faster rate.
