23.01.2022 Yesterday was a very successful (& very comfy) Pyjama Day as we raised way over our original goal and raised a total of $420!!! Our manager Mary is a Pyjama Angel so she gets to see first hand the amazing work @thepyjamafoundation does and difference it makes in these childrens lives. 17.01.2022 We had some special visitors today! Monique, Georgia and new little Baby Oliver. Oliver is such a great little baby and Georgia is showing to be a wonderful big sister. Georgia had lots of fun going around mummys work and making friends with our patients.

14.01.2022 We would like to announce some special news about our Office Manager Corrine. Congratulations to Corrine, Stone and Quintin as they have welcomed a very tiny son and brother, Dustin Patrick Ramsdale at the Townsville University Hospital on Friday 24/07. Beautiful Dustin weighed 689g at birth and is receiving special care and attention by the wonderful Doctors and nurses in the neonatal ward at the TUH. Its still a long road ahead for Corrine and her family as they provide lo...ve, support and nurturing for this little guy whilst being away from Quintin and their families. Dustin is proving to be a tough little man (like his Mum). Hes a fighter and is doing very well. Corrine and Stone are fortunate to be able to stay at the Ronald McDonald house at the hospital and big brother Quintin has been enjoying his visit there. This support from the Ronald McDonald house is really valuable over these months that they are spending in Townsville. We cant wait to meet Dustin when he returns home to Mackay. We know that Corrine and Stone are looking forward to that day too. All of the team at Torque Ortho, along with our patients and their families send lots of love and support to you and your families.

13.01.2022 Tomorrow is PYJAMA DAY at Torque! Pyjama day is an amazing (& comfy) event we like to get apart of each year to raise money for children in foster homes. We normally hold a morning tea to help raise donations, however, due to the current COVID-19 circumstances, we will not be doing that this year. Instead our staff members will still be wearing PJs to work and individually all donating to the foundation. Sienna finished her full Orthodontic Treatment and little brother Liam has finished his phase 1 Orthodontic Treatment. We will now await further growth prior to commencing Liams next stage of Treatment. Congratulations to you both!

12.01.2022 On Thursday we had the pleasure of having a small pre baby celebration for our long term team member and Oral Health Therapist, Alarna. All of our team were very excited to host this celebration and we especially enjoyed making baby purchases to spoil Alarna. We had a lovely afternoon and enjoyed having this social gathering after a busy week in the practice. Alarna and Jacob are looking forward to the arrival of their long awaited baby and there will be lots of Torque aunties and 1 uncle ready to meet and spoil this special baby. Dustin has had some ups and downs during this journey so far but he has hit a new milestone at 60 days old which is he can start wearing proper clothes, yay!! Mumma Corrine has been going well but is definitely looking forward to the day she can return home to her family and friends along with Dustin. We are sure Quintin will be excited for his big brother duties to take place also.

04.01.2022 After 3.5 years, and a few delays caused by 2 broken collarbones and a global pandemic, the day has finally come that Ash has finished her Bachelor of Oral Health at CQU in Rockhampton. Ash has been a Dental Assistant at our practice since 2015 and now has returned to Torque Orthodontics as an AHPRA registered Oral Health Therapist. We are super proud of Ash for her dedication and hard work to achieve this qualification and stoked that shes back working full time with our team. Congratulations Ash and well done on your academic achievements

02.01.2022 Jack has been a patient at Torque Orthodontics since 2016 as he required two phases of Orthodontic Treatment. When we first met Jack he presented with a underbite involving crossbites. As jack was at the perfect age we were able to use growth modification appliances (expander and head gear) to correct his jaw bone discrepancies while he was still developing. After phase 1 Treatment was complete, we awaited the loss of Jacks baby teeth prior to moving onto Invisalign Treatment to correct the alignment. Congratulations Jack on completing all of your Orthodontic Treatment, we have loved treating you these past few years

02.01.2022 Congratulations to our gorgeous Senior Dental Assistant Tara for completing her Orthodontic Treatment. Taras new smile took only 11 months to achieve using Invisalign and the help of Dental Monitoring

01.01.2022 Dr Monckton's daughter Julia Monckton will be cutting off 30cm of her hair on the 27th of November to raise money for the "Kids with Cancer Foundation".
