15.01.2022 Hi All, due to TORRENSVILLE hosting the State Champion of Champions singles tomorrow there will be no training/practice. Great opportunity though to see some great bowls action and learn a few new tricks so come along and have a gander. Finals got both men’s and ladies start about 3 pm

14.01.2022 Update on Trial Matches Hi all With pennant games set to commence for Wednesday on the 7th Oct and Saturday 10th Oct (subject to Covid19 Restrictions of course) the following dates have been set aside for trial games; Wed 2/9 Internal (already done!!) Sat 5/9 Internal... Wed 9/9 Sturt (at Torrensville) Sat 12/9 Internal (Barmera weekend) Wed 16/9 Edwardstown (TBA) Sat 19/9 Sturt (at Sturt) Wed 23/9 Semaphore (TORRENSVILLE) Sat 26/9 Edwardstown (TBA) Wed 30/9 Holdfast (TBA) A couple of the venues for the above are still to be confirmed as during the last week of September we are the back -up venue for Champions of Champions week for Bowls SA. Other factors may affect these trials such as Covid 19 so please be aware of any notices that may come out via Text, email or facebook. 09.01.2022 Yay, we can have a Roll Up!!!! Further to my advices yesterday Bowls SA have clarified that their recommendation is as follows; - Maximum 10 players per green at any one time.... That will allow maximum players of 30 playing at the club at any one time. 10 on each green There will be no formal matches this allowance to play is for a roll up only. We cannot play club competitions or a have a social competition or have formal training at this time!! Please stick to these limits. We have already had a call from Bowls SA yesterday advising they had received a call from the public that we had 40-50 people on the green. Now that was not correct but we must be mindful that there are people out there willing to report the club. We can obviously provide proof to authorities that we are not breaching guidelines through CCV coverage so let’s not give them a chance. The fines that can be handed out by SAPOL are significant. By the way there was a maximum of 4 at the club yesterday afternoon. Hopefully, this is for a short term only. Everything going well we hope to back to playing comps after 1/12/2020 Our Covid plan also allows for a max of 40 in the clubrooms at any one time You will also need to at this point complete the Covid Tracing register. A Covid Marshall must be in attendance whenever anyone is at the club. Please remember to practice social distancing, sanitise your hands regularly, sanitise the mats, jacks and mats before and after you play. If you are feeling unwell please stay home. Heat Policy this Friday and Saturday the temperatures are expected to reach 40 deg.
