17.01.2022 Another word from Cindy O'Meara on Isagenix and similar products that I also believe are not fit for human consumption!

10.01.2022 This is so true. A change of attitude around food and a knowledge of ingredients in our food, including chemicals and other additives certainly helps to change our perception from eating anything, to eating real food that will nourish and heal our bodies.
10.01.2022 **Adrenal Fatigue** Do you seem to always put on weight around your belly? Do you feel tired most of the time?... We found this interesting article that will probably interest you: 'Stress, and by proxy Adrenal Fatigue, has its own role to play in central obesity. When the adrenals are called upon to respond to stress on a frequent or even ongoing basis during the early stages of Adrenal Fatigue, cortisol production is in high gear to help the body to deal with the stressors. Glucocorticoid receptors that respond to cortisol are found in cells throughout the entire body, with different effects depending on what kind of tissue is responding. Now in the central abdomen, which contains many times more cortisol receptors as compared to the body’s periphery, cortisol has an energy conservation and storage effect. The action of the tissues in the central part of the bodywhen continuously stimulated by cortisol is to sequester fat and store it. In a way, the cortisol is attracting the fat to itself; subcutaneous and peripheral adipose deposits are redistributed to the central abdomen, causing the spare tire look we mentioned earlier.' 09.01.2022 In a 2013 study published in Spine**, Dr Benjamin Keeney and his colleagues looked at early predictors of lumbar spine surgery after occupational injury. The in...vestigators looked at data to determine, in a sample of 1885 workers, how many underwent spine surgery and what the predictors for spine surgery were. A total of 185 (9.2%) of the study participants underwent lumbar spine surgery within three years. Reduced odds of surgery were observed for those under age 35, women, Hispanics, and those whose first provider was a chiropractor. 42.7% of workers who first saw a surgeon had surgery, in contrast to only 1.5% of those who saw a chiropractor. Even after controlling for injury severity and other measures, workers with an initial visit for the injury to a surgeon had almost nine times the odds of receiving lumbar spine surgery compared to those seeing primary care providers, whereas workers whose first visit was to a chiropractor had significantly lower odds of surgery. **This article is available open access at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4258106/.
08.01.2022 A nice simplified way of looking at Adrenal Fatigue.
08.01.2022 Are you getting muscle cramps, having trouble sleeping, feeling a little anxious or craving chocolate? You might not be getting enough magnesium. The first thi...ng to do is to reduce foods that are depleted in nutrients (refined flours and sugars) and start eating some foods that are high in magnesium, such as avocados, green leafy vegetables, nuts and raw cacao. 05.01.2022 Abnormal posture is evident in patients with stress related and chronic illnesses. Homeostasis and nervous system function. are ultimately connected with posture.
02.01.2022 For those of you who have been wondering where my new clinic footwear is from. The very talented Siobhan from A-Zumble-Zay made my funky black Ghillies that I wear while I am adjusting. These are so comfortable to wear and being the same as being barefoot only with some added protection, these moccasins are so good for the health and correct biomechanics of not only your feet, but also your spine (and entire body).
