However, its imperative that the individual, the employee firstly takes ownership of the life they want to live. The reality is know one else can think for you, know one else can do it for you, just you! We all have 1440 minutes in a day. Its the only equal modality in the entire world. We all have the same amount of time. - This week I have spent two days with a company enco...uraging there employees to take control of the life they want to live. In an attempt to do this I encouraged them to become a Life Architect and start reframing their foundations. - I challenged them to think like World Class Athletes. Implement characteristics that make athletes successful. They are very focused, goal orientated, structured, determine, selfish. They identify their weaknesses and close the gap between their strengths and weakness. They surround themselves with a TEAM that "add value". - Whos in your TEAM that "adds value"? - I encouraged them to live more. Less proving more living. Its not the hours you work, your job title, your bank balance, the suburb you live in, the car you drive. - I challenged them to run their body like a small business. - I challenged them to implement "reverse role modelling". - I challenged them to establish courageous trust. Only you know the life you want to live, dont let others dictate it for you. - I challenged them to say "NO". If it doesnt "add value", if its not a priority, if it doesnt need to be done straight away, say "NO". Control the controlables. - I challenged them to spend 20-minutes per day on themselves for themselves. Not on social media, FB, instagram, watching TV. On themselves, reading, writing, listening to music, playing music, having FUN, reverse role modelling - unstructured play! - And finally, I challenged them to improve by 5%. I told them to embrace being SELFISH. If you are happy first & foremost you are going to be a better brother, sister, spouse, partner, father, mother, friend, employee, employer. - We all deserve honesty and integrity, so does your body, both physically and mentally. Lets look at the diet industry for example. Diets only work for 2% of the population because they are not sustainable. Structure your reps around high volume (eight to 12 reps, three to five sets) and moderate resistance (50 percent to 75 percent of one-rep max).
