23.01.2022 Well, what a crazy year its been, but we are finally allowed out to play. SSC is open for business and the round on August 8 will be going ahead. Depending on ...what the next weeks hold, this may or may not with spectators. Noms are now open, and you can nominate by clicking the link below. 22.01.2022 The sad times we live in. Over the past week, the SSC signs and frame that sits at the hwy entrance to the Motorsport complex has gone missing. The frame is ma...de from 40x40 gal RHS and is approx 4mt long and 1500mm high. If anyone can help recover this, it would be greatly appreciated. Chris Kelly and I have been at the track most of the we...ekend, and short of some water that will happen Thursday and Friday, the track is ready to go. Spectators are welcome to the event, and as part of our COVID plan, we will need details from everyone on site. If giving us your details offends you or makes you feel violated is some way, please ensure you miss the turn of the hwy or stay at home. If you are feeling sick or have flu like symptoms, please stay at home. The canteen and bar will be open Friday night, and all day and into the night on Saturday. Kahn Goodluck will be performing Saturday night as soon as racing finishes. Entries will close at 6.00pm this coming Wednesday. 08.01.2022 2018/2019 END OF SEASON ROUNDUP Like a few other drivers, I have just finished my first season in the senior class of Modlites. Wow what a blast it has been. I ...never imagined moving into a class that could be fun, scary, exciting, have lows, have highs and all that happen in the one race meeting! I got wrecked a few times being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I even spun out a few times myself! I have loads to learn and lots speed to use yet. I am keen to do better, to go faster and to always always beat Josh! My biggest achievement would have been doing my best time in the 14 second bracket at Toowoomba Speedway. Being part of the Modlite Family and feeling so welcome by all the Teams made for some fun times. I want to thank everyone associated with the Modlites and all the Modlite Teams and officials. Thank you for your help, your guidance, your suggestions, your tips, your patience with me on the track, your parts, your pipe bending, your friendship, your love, your kindness, your sausage sizzles, your everything and anything you did. 06.01.2022 Good afternoon folks, Just a heads up that Clarkies Petrol Heads Paradise (like everywhere else) is CLOSED due to COVID-19 restrictions. Police have been patro...lling the area and anyone caught there will receive a $1,000 fine and Clarkie will be fined $13,000..... So please do the right thing and stay away. At this stage we dont know what this means for this years event as it is still a long way away. If things have returned to normal in months to come we will aim to run the 2020 Lowmead 3 Car Challenge as it would be good to have something positive to finish off the year with, but obviously quite a few factors will come into play for that to happen.
