I've come to realise that being an independent artist doesn't mean doing it on my own - it means support, community and FRIENDS!!! P.S. Sorry if I have missed anyone, sending you the loving, thank you vibes too! x Tone City Recording Studio Westwood Management Jonny Westwood Kate Westwood Sam Ford Kelly-Jade Penton Steven Emmerson Double Creative Sophia Emily Art Lewis Parsons @michaeljelinek @benjaminwitt Sam Timmerman Jordan Tobias Kate Bermingham Mick Battista Roisin Maree Mark Turner Dance Ablett Renee LeGuier Rokeby100 Kirsty Do'thirsty Melissa Rose Jo Di Tepen Viacrucis-Naylor Peta Coy Total Audio Services Lisa Welker Matt Boyd Jackie Werdeling #alexisnaylor #music #singersongwriter #artist #instamusic #musician #australianartist #australianmusic #unsignedartist #independentartist #originalmusic #countdown #tour #crowdfundingcampaign #australiantour #newmusic #newalbum #newalbumcomingsoon #3days #thankyou #tour #campaign #support #community #friends

06.01.2022 Over the last week I have had calls from a number of Churches asking for suggestions on the easiest and most effective way to put their Church services online. ...If you want to stream the service live then using Facebook live or YouTube from a simple mobile phone is by far the easiest way. Whilst image quality from most modern mobile phones is brilliant, getting good quality audio from a phone mounted on a tripod can sometimes be less than ideal. Connecting an external mic to the mobile phone phone is the solution. Thanks to the proliferation of people producing podcasts external microphones for phones are now commonplace and readily available from many retailers including such places as Officeworks. It’s simply a matter of connecting the mic to the phone, putting the phone on a tripod using an adaptor (again readily available from retailers) and pressing GoLive on your Facebook page. Another consideration for Churches is music and the issue of incorporating licenced or copywrite music into an online Church service published to the internet. A great idea the Pastor at Northcote Baptist in Melbourne, is to put the Church service online by using a YouTube playlist. They are recording the various Church service segments uploading them to YouTube, then incorporating the various segments with videos of original songs that already available on YouTube (such as Hillsong) and putting everything together into a YouTube playlist (welcome message, song, prayer, sermon, song etc) and then publishing the completed playlist on the Church website. That way you are not infringing any copyright material and you are promoting the original artists work. It’s just one idea, but thought it might be helpful for Churches looking for ways to offer Church online in this current environment.
