24.01.2022 I made myself sushi last week and it was deeelish!!!! Sushi is often what people pick when they are out as its seen as a 'healthier' option than something like kfc or mcdonalds which it CAN be however depending on your choices, calorie wise it could be more than a burger! These 4 rolls add up to 320 calories. All thats there is chicken, cucumber, rice, seaweed, soy sce and a small amount of teriyaki marinade. ... No crumb, no frying, no creamy sauces or mayo that make up some of the most delicious options! And when its all passing by in front of you its easy to grab an extra plate and possibly eat more than you would if it was just served to you at once!

22.01.2022 If you dont have a double chin are you even doing your Glute Bridges right? Seriously though, Glute Bridges, seems like an easy one BUT so often there a few things that need to be tweaked. It's actually not as simple as up and down! - feet should be just outside finger reach... - pushing through the heels, feet should be flat on the floor - rib cage pulled down and butt tucked ... but what does that mean? It means at the top of your bridge your rib cage should not be flared and there should be no arch in your lower back. For the whole range of motion think about a piece of string connecting your rib cage to your hip bones and pulling them together.

Our lives go through stages, busy times where training is the bare minimum , super motivated times where the diet is on point and training is a breeze , times where yolo kicks in and a few happy fun times kilos creep on. All are totally ok! And the fittest, strongest you can look different as well! This time last year I was running a cruisey 16k gearing up for a half marathon and loving running.... Right now I might run one 2k a week as part of another workout because right now I am not into running Im more into strength work Am I more or less my best shape now than I was then? Im neither. Im just changing my training based on what I enjoy

21.01.2022 Mexican food is seriously my fav Not only is it super delish but its easy to make a few small changes to healthy it up a bit - use lean mince ... - make your own spice mix, salt, cumin, garlic, paprika itll never taste bad I promise you! - load up the salad - make your own salsa - swap your sour cream for greek yoghurt - swap your tasty cheese for a lite cheese - have a taco bowl instead of a taco or wrap - mix it up, swap your rice for some roasted sweet potato or beans SO. MANY. OPTIONS.

One of the things that often comes up is the support and no pressure environment. If you want to lift heavier, be faster, get stronger we will help you but if you want to workout because it makes you feel good and it helps your overall health then that is 100% OK too. You dont need to have big goals or want to achieve more all the time. Being happy and content is pretty friggin great

19.01.2022 Challenge starts today and I AM SO DAMN KEEN!!! Ive got my own little challenge for the next 6 weeks. Ive been experimenting with Traditional Chinese Medicine to help my sinus issues. This includes accupuncture, some interesting herbal concoctions and a few diet changes to help my sinus and a few other bits and pieces she would like to work on. ... Id never advocate cutting things out of your diet unless it is neccessary (or a personal ethical choice such a vego/vegan etc) as I do firmly believe variety is best and no one way of eating works for everyone. For me, Im about ready to cut my nose off so Ill try it and see how we go! No red meat, dairy, wheat, alcohol, sugar, caffiene and limited garlic and chilli (allll the best foods are spicy ) Wish me luck!

19.01.2022 STACK IT UP !!! Progress cam sometimes be slow and frustrating but remember that every little bit adds up. One of my lovely ladies just marked a 30kg weight loss! How incredible! ... 30kg is so damn impressive and she got there by being consistent and not expecting it to happen overnight. Every little bit adds up over time

19.01.2022 My ladies just finished their 6 week challenge and OH MY LORDDDD they killed it!!!!! A combined loss of 78.9kg. DAMN they lost 1 and 1/2 Jenni's!!! (Official unit of measure 1 x Jenni) every little bit counts! If thats just 1kg per month consistently that ADDS UP! Over 12 months thats a potential 12kg . Of course weight loss is not a straight line but you see what I mean here. Consistent work will get results over time. If you look at your day to day or week to week you can get lost and feel like no progress is being made but look at the trend of the data, refer back to your start point, look forward

06.01.2022 Unpopular opinion?? Covid is not the real pandemic, pregnancy is??? ... Seriously though, its been a week! Ive had a few of my ladies let me know theyre expecting and its a lot even by my usual baby lucky charm standards! So the usual question is, can I keep exercising? Do I need to change anything? In short, yes you can keep exercising as long as your Dr says its ok! Obviously every pregnancy is different. Ive had ladies bed bound from 4 weeks so exercising was a no-go but Ive also had all the way up to 36! Yes what you can do will change as you progress and we are happy to accomodate. Regular check ins with your Dr are a must! Around here, if youre not wanting to have a baby it pays to be proactive! If you are, well come on down!!! we have a very high success rate* *results not guaranteed

As a semi-at risk person (allergies and asthma, shitty immune system) as well as a business owner, friend, sister, aunt, daughter etc I am so glad we got onto this early and locked down. Yeah I lost money. BUT I LOST NO ONE!!! And that is what matters to me. My business will survive and thrive because of the values its built on and the service it provides. A few things come into play first - ... - hip mobility - ankle mobility - knee mobility - can you maintain form for the full range? - does your butt wink at the bottom - body weight, back squat, goblet squat, front squat? - sumo squats, box squats... Every person's squat depth will be different because of all the above and more. The key being that you do it right. And dont rip yourself of by doing weird little half squats to go quicker (you know exactly what Im talking about!) fast is not better than working to your range of motion.
