What to write exactly? Look up a similar job on seek! Check out the position criteria the closely matches what you have already done. It's effective, usually well written and saves you time!

23.01.2022 Looking to work on the mines? But not having any luck securing a position? You know you have the relative skills and qualifications, but not the experience. It’s a catch 22 and an old cliché, how do I get the experience? Instead of just focusing on the mine job itself, look into companies that do contract work for mining companies. You may be workshop or site based but there could be the opportunity to fly out and do shut down or maintenance work on a mine site (this of cours...e depends on what your occupation field is) Project Connect might be a good resource go to the website and have a look what is going on, who has won contracts, where they are and when they start. Be prepared to do your research, if you are committed your hard work will pay off.

07.01.2022 I had the pleasure of putting together a piece for the guys over at Cribhut a little while back regarding resumes and how to make sure you stand out from the crowd. "Some of you may be applying for jobs that you’re perfectly qualified for, and perfectly suited to you and your abilities/skills, but you’re just not getting a positive response from employers. It’s easy to question ‘What’s wrong with me?’ as that’s usually the first point of call, but in actual fact, it’s nothin...g personal at all the recruiter has probably never even met you. 03.01.2022 Are you a job seeker that is hitting the payment and targeting every Recruitment Agency in town? It's not about dropping your resume off and asking what jobs they have available. You have to sell yourself! The Consultants receive 100s of Resumes weekly, you want to ensure you engage their interest. Be specific about what you want, not just "whatever's available".

02.01.2022 If you are sending a Generic Cover out to many Employers with your resume, take a little extra time to address the company on the letter and make mention of them in the content. It doesn't take long to add a few extra lines - to the Recruiter it won't appear "Generic"
