19.01.2022 Just keep going. I promise it pays off. My wings are growing but this sort of stuff doesn't happen in a 12 week challenge... The top photo was taken back in January '18. The bottom photo was taken at the start of this week. I've been through so much in that space of time. I could have sat back, felt sorry for myself and continued to be in constant pain. Instead I choose to fight, purely because I'm blessed with the ability to actually do so (and I have an incredible... support system). I make myself proud every day, even on the days where I rest and take a step back. 19.01.2022 Last week was a much needed de-load week for me so, I took the time to play around in my new home, @top_performance_fitness! De-loads are a period of time (typically 1 week) where training volume and/or intensity is reduced. The whole point is to lower the stress being placed on your body, to rest, to recover and to avoid injury or plateaus... If you're not recovering well then your not going to be able to train optimally either! They're also a great time to nail techniq...ue on your compound movements before working back up to heavier weights. De-loads are an integral part of any well-structured training program. 18.01.2022 I love being a coach... But I love being a coach even more when I get clients like @lareckii Bec came to me just less than 6 months ago now. She wanted to build strength, do a bit of body re-comp and learn from me, as she prepared to enter into the fitness industry, herself. This queen has continued to tick every box, week after week, and these are the results of her hard work. The biggest thing for Bec to overcome was trusting the process but she's done exactly that! I...m so damn proud!! Initially, Bec weighed in at 67.5kg and was eating only 1300 calories but in the most recent photo she's now 64.4kg and getting in 2075 calories! Her lifting technique has also improved, she's stronger than ever and well on her way to achieving her strength goals, too. We now enter a steady building phase and it won't be long before my girl is smashing sets of 5 BW pull ups and repping out 110kg deadlifts! 10.01.2022 What a way to top this year off, with my clients! I've been so excited to share this #transformation with you all! Exactly 6 months apart, exactly 30kg lost!! I couldn't be more proud of Tracey's consistency and commitment to her goals. She has listened to me, worked hard and learned that you can still achieve sustainable results whilst having a balanced relationship with food, the gym and other lifestyle factors.
