Breathing every 2/ alternating left and right to watch the competition The camera catches his 'non breathing' side catch beautifully, high elbow, vertical forearm, power catch and drive. Enjoy!

21.01.2022 The second method to help deepen swimming skill, and pace improvement. This is a principled method, that leads to a deeper understanding of swim pace for the swimmer. Swimmers use Tempo Trainers for either stroke rate, or secs/stroke.... Progressive swim sets are designed to help swimmers achieve pace improvement. SPL x Tempo = Pace Watch fellow TI swim coach SHINJI demonstrate: Holding SPL (strokes per length, or distance per stroke) as tempo increases How- this is a challenging skill, because as tempo increases, drag increases to slow the swimmer down!! 15.01.2022 Getting a little bit excited ! Tomorrow - Tuesday 28 April Swim & Go and Surf & Go... 7am to 5pm only. Bondi, Tama, Bronte These measures will give surfers, paddle boarders, kayakers and regular ocean swimmers safe access to the water for the sole purpose of exercising. Heres what the plan looks like: A Swim & Go area will be open at North Bondi and the bogey hole at Bronte Beach for ocean swimmers (no bathers please). A Surf & Go area will be open at South Bondi and from the middle of the beach at Bronte (no paddlers please). Surfing and surf craft users are permitted at Tamarama Beach and Mackenzies Bay (swimming is not permitted). Beaches are NOT reopening! Our beaches remain closed to all land-based activities (no gathering, sunbaking, walking or jogging) and access to the water is via designated entry points managed by Rangers.

14.01.2022 Wednesday Wins with Swimlab! Well done Hollie! Weve made you into a swimming fanatic! Check out the first video from 6 months a go, at the start of Hollies swim journey. Hollie was only able to swim breast-stroke and had no blue-print to swim freestyle.... After completing our Total Immersion Level 1.0 Freestyle Program, Hollie stuck diligently to the post program practice sessions, and sequences set. She then took part in Swimlab Swim Bootcamps to keep up-skilling, and more recently our Squad Starter Program in preparation to stepping up to full Bondi Swimfit Squad At the start of the year, she raised over $1400 for the Starlight Foundation, swimming over 30,000km in a month! 03.01.2022 Wigs and Jess These two! Congrats on passing your Beach Bronze Medallion a few weeks ago! ... Set a goal Make a plan Do the push-ups Score Jess and Wigs have - committed to their swimming improvement, and achieved their goal of passing the Bronze Medallion, and becoming Volunteer Lifesavers to the Community! They participated in the first Ocean swim at Coogee in April 2019. And caught the swimming bug! They completed our Total Immersion Level 1.0 swimming program to give them a solid foundation and education in stroke mechanics. Stepped up to Smart Speed Level 2.0 to apply skills, and deeper understanding of pace holding, in order to pass the 400m in 9 mins. Boom...... SwimFit squads to train for gain! Swimmers are Grinners!
