21.01.2022 Yesterday’s project didn’t turn out too badly. Both frames need a bit of a tweak and tidy up and then they will be ready to put out into the shop. We are open all weekend 10.00am - 4.30pm.

21.01.2022 This week I gave new life to an old bookcase using the soft colour of Annie Sloan chalk paint Antoinette. With a little help from my furry friend we turned old into pretty. You too can breath new life into any old piece of furniture at home. We are open all over the long weekend with all our surrounding cafes open too!

20.01.2022 We would like to wish all our customers a Happy and safe Easter. We will be open over Easter, including Good Friday. So if you are going a bit stir crazy being stuck in the ACT why not come for a walk around Federation Square and pop in for a browse. Most shops will be open and you will be able to get a good takeaway coffee too.

They come beautifully packaged and with their own French rose petal spray that is to be sprayed on the roses. Retailing at $220.00 they would make a great gift for Mother’s Day.

13.01.2022 Spent some time on an old meatsafe last week. With the help of my curious cat the piece turned out well! I used Annie Sloan chalk paint duck egg blue with clear and dark wax to give it an aged look. This piece is now in store.

07.01.2022 A small project underway! Annie Sloan chalk paint is not only for transforming furniture. It is great for changing the look of pretty much anything.

06.01.2022 Had fun using Annie Sloan Pearlescent Glaze! These two bedside tables were painted in Svenska Blue with the Pearlescent Glaze applied to the tops. Clear wax was then applied to the bottoms of the tables. The glaze was easy to use and gives a rich sheen to the tops. A friendly reminder that we are open and will be right across Easter.
