25.01.2022 REGIONAL BUSINESSES SHOULD REGISTER FOR DINE & DISCOVER The NSW Business Chamber has urged eligible businesses to register for the NSW Governments Dine & Discover vouchers so they can be ready to take advantage of the scheme when it rolls out in the region in March.... Trials of Dine & Discover began this week in The Rocks and Broken Hill, with a larger pilot to be undertaken a cross a number of locations later this month and the state-wide program to be rolled out in March. The scheme provides residents of NSW over 18 with four $25 vouchers to be redeemed at local businesses on tourism, arts and dining experiences. Businesses should register as soon as possible for Dine & Discover so that they are ready for customers to redeem their vouchers when the program starts in this region next month, Business NSW Regional Manager, Joe Townsend said. We want to get the community back to their favourite cafes, restaurants, cinemas and recreation venues, said Mr Townsend. The scheme will be a tremendous boost for businesses that have borne the brunt of COVID restrictions. Businesses must be registered as COVID Safe and operate in one of the following industries to be eligible for registration: Cafes and restaurants; Pubs, taverns, bars and clubs; Scenic and sightseeing transport; Cinemas; Museums, galleries and historic sites; Zoos, botanic gardens, wildlife parks and nature reserves; Performing arts operations, theatres and entertainment centres; Amusement, theme and water parks; Recreations activities such as go-karting, paintball, laser tag, mini-golf, or bowling; Outdoor adventures; and Travel agencies and tours Eligible businesses can register now on the NSW Government Website. https://www.service.nsw.gov.au//register-business-dine-dis
