Homeschooling 4 kids between 5-15yrs and working from home has been an obvious challenge but we are easing into a routine that suits us. I havent baked so much in years! 05.01.2022 It’s been a long time between posts for me as I stepped away in an effort to quiet my life and mind for a moment. It was very much needed! Life is chaotic and often overwhelming at the best of times, and this year I definitely needed to pull back from my sewing a little to cope with all the other aspects of my life. Every day I walked past my sewing machine and wondered when I’d get back to it, but the timing had to be right or I knew I’d push it further away. A few weeks a...go, a friend welcomed their first baby to the world and I wanted to give them something special, functional and made with love. I slipped straight back into my sewing and it felt so good to be back behind the machine! I’m looking forward to easing back into my passion, it won’t be fast but it will be done with love .....
