The fastest-growing jobs in Australia are in healthcare, according to data produced by job site Indeed and provided exclusively to Business Insider Australia.... Demand for pharmacists almost trebled, with the number of job ads growing by an astounding 180% in 2019. Likewise, pharmacy assistant jobs grew by almost 170%. The demand for healthcare workers is no doubt responsible for the healthiest wage growth in the country, with the sector enjoying 3.2% annual pay rises on average compared to 2.2% in other sectors. When it comes to hot job sectors there’s one clear winner. The Australian healthcare industry is leading the labour market when it comes to demand for professionals, and thus wage growth. 14.01.2022 I am 100% comfortable sharing the ONE thing that has made a bigger difference in the quality of my resume writing than anything else. When I started doing this, it improved my clients' results by an average of 80%.... Stay with me ... Between the research and writing phases ... (yes, there are many strategic phases to writing a strong CV) I start with a blank Word document and divide it in two (via a table). On one side, I write a list of pain points (problems) that my client's target companies are/may be experiencing. I dig deep by approaching this as if I were the CEO, lying awake and frustrated at 2 am. And on the other side of the page/table, I jot down relevant examples of how my client has provided solutions for similar or the same problems. When I get to the end of this task, I have a crystal-clear understanding of the issues faced by my clients' target companies ... and I know exactly how I'm going to position my client as the answer to their problems through my resume writing. ... ? Yesterday, I received an email from a client that made me stop, celebrate and regroup.... ****** "The feedback was that my resume stood out from the rest - it was very well received and so that was an initial step in the right direction. I was quite nervous before the interview and settled my nerves rereading my resume and answers to the selection criteria. This helped focus my attention on the good I had done over the last 21 years. When I went in, I was able to just be myself and I was happy that I had presented myself in the best manner possible. This free resume evaluation is intended to give you an honest, straightforward assessment with some suggestions to help in your job search. ... We've all been told that looks don't matter as much as substance, but in the case of your resume this just isn't true. I found your design to be visually uneven. The appearance is not polished, and it doesn't say "high potential" as your experience suggests. ... your use of bullets is splendid! At the same time, you shouldn't have too many bullets that they makes your resume difficult to read! -- yes, I noticed the grammatical errors too! ... If the content in your resume could apply to anyone in your field, you need to rethink it. Anything can be news ... Is your career story newsworthy? Does it scream "HIRE ME!" PRO TIP: A good resume applies the ‘Inverted Pyramid’ principle borrowed from journalism for effective content. You have literally seconds to ‘hook’ your reader, so the first words on your page (the top third of your resume) and the structure of your copy is incredibly important.
