25.01.2022 To all my 'horsey friends', I'm having some hay baled (small squares) on a property in Chirnside Park/Lilydale (Yarra valley)... It's top quality hay, weed free... and full of clover as well as poor mans lucerne.. We are just waiting to dry it out a little and get the moisture content right. Please share this around for me to the different facebook horse groups, Northern and Western ones, etc as I am not a member and would like to sell the hay straight off the paddock by the float full, etc See more

She rode in the Royal Melbourne Show a couple of times and real...ly knew her stuff (I added a couple of pics of her there)...I am told these are top class gear! I'll try to get this list correct as best I can... Please share around to all the horse groups around melbourne for me that I am not a member of...namely north and west.. 24.01.2022 I spent a couple of hours removing damaged posts (from a wind sucker horse) on a neighbours property today. If done carefully its a quick operation and the wires can be left on the fence...

23.01.2022 Old and new! The old cattle fence was well past its used by date and the new horse fence should prove nice and safe to them... The extra 5th wire was added at the bottom to keep a couple of miniatures in.

05.01.2022 I’ve seen many sights as a Rural Contractor and had some funny experiences....but, I never thought I would look up to see a bloody Ostrich eyeballing me!! I thought thank god it was on the other side of the fence!! Ironically ‘Stella’ is very friendly and ate out of my hand...

01.01.2022 Slashing for the last two jobs of the year..horse trails through bush in Belgrave South with the skid steer (bobcat) and then 22 acres of grass with the tractor in Narre Warren North (would like to have cut hay and donated to drought stricken farmers but, unfortunately couldnt be).
