It has been a busy week here at Total Solar HQ getting out to install as many systems as possible, while maintaining our high standards of workmanship and service. We were so pleased that we were finally able to install this SolarEdge StorEdge / LG Chem Hybrid combo now that the restrictions have eased and we are permitted to install again!... Thank you to all our wonderful customers who have been incredibly patient and understanding while we have working hard to book installation dates. 20.01.2022 Congratulations to our team member, Scott on becoming a licenced electrician last week. Scott started working at Total Solar Solutions as a first year apprentice back in 2017 and has matured into a fantastic electrician over the last 4 years. While Scott is exceptionally easy going, he diligently worked towards gaining his A-Grade qualification within 4 years which is a fantastic achievement!... Well done Scott!

17.01.2022 Great to be back installing in Melbourne again. A nice hybrid system today with 10.8kw of LG 360 Watt Neon 2 Panels paired with 2 x SolarEdge StorEdge 5kw inverters and 1 x LG Chem Resu 10h battery.

13.01.2022 On Saturday, the Total Solar team enjoyed our Christmas Party! Our extremely competitive team battled it out in an axe throwing tournament at Maniax where Hayden won bragging rights as the champion axe thrower for the next 12 months. A big thank you to our amazing team for all your hard work this year. There was not a week that went by this year without a compliment of how professional, polite and helpful you all are. 12.01.2022 Today we commissioned this 7.5kw LG Neon 2 Solar power system in Knoxfield with 10kwh's of Zenaji battery storage. Paired with a Selectronic SP Pro 481 and a Fronius Australia 8.2kw Selectronic certified Primo Inverter. With the devastating weather we have had in our area last week, this system will kick into back up mode and power the home if a power outage occurs.

07.01.2022 Today the State Government have announced an enormous investment into helping Victorian families and businesses with their rising electricity costs This includes: Solar photovoltaics (PV) rebates to be brought forward, bringing the total number of rebates to 65,000 for this year, and 140,000 over the next two years 17,500 solar battery rebates over three years and the removal of postcode eligibility requirements. 5,000 battery rebates will be available in 2020-21, with... rebates released fortnightly in line with the current schedule of rebate release dates Efficient, lower-cost heating and cooling for 250,000 low-income and vulnerable households 15,000 solar PV rebates for Victorian small businesses over the next three years. 65,000 solar PV rebates will now be available this year, bringing the total to 140,000 over the next two years, and allowing more Victorians to join the solar revolution. 01.01.2022 We often show images of solar systems we have done at residential homes and small business but over the last few months we have been working on our own solar panel testing site at our HQ in Bayswater North. This system consists of multiple inverter types, panels brands and sizes as well as different batteries. We don't yet have a lot of data yet on our monitoring however we are looking forward to being able to share this with you all in the coming months.... You can see for this installation that we have a combination of orientations with the rear North panels on our traditional style adjustable tilt legs. The East/West 10 degree tilts you see here is the latest offering from Clenergy which are a great option for a premises with limited roof space.
