08.01.2022 Project boomerang was a major construction project undertaken by Taylor Construction, with a project value in excess of $140 million dollars. The building comprises of ground floor commercial space, 7 levels of carpark with podium slab, and a 40 story residential tower. On this project, we provided surveying services for all construction works, which included earthworks, piling and foundations, the main structure and lift shaft, the façade and finishes, external civil and la...ndscaping works, plus all Works as Executed documents required for Occupational Completion. Whilst working on this project, we implemented a number of different surveying practices, including conventional total station work via resection up to the podium level, and with optical plummet control implemented for completion of the 40 story residential tower and lift shaft.
