25.01.2022 My uncle in Laos once told me "travel the world, immerse yourself in different cultures and see how other people live" We can learn so much from the man fishing in the Mekong river in Laos to the woman painting in the streets of Florence, Italy. In partnership with the Commonwealth Bank, the ASEAN Alliance Council hosted a boardroom discussion last week on RCEP, the world’s largest free trade agreement worth 30% of $26.2 trillion world trade.... The boardroom discussion highlighted the opportunities that the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) would bring to businesses in WA. Thank you to Commonwealth Bank, Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation and Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for the ongoing support and hosting an insightful boardroom discussion. We are excited that more businsses from WA and ASEAN can build trust, perfom business and learn from each others cultures. 20.01.2022 No one is ever self made. You cannot do it all alone. Without the support of family, friends and the business community, I would not be here in 2021. Business has its challenges emotionally, and its unrealistic to think you can overcome them by yourself.... Because of the people around me, I am driven to see opportunities for positive impact wherever I go. And I remember to say thank you, I appreciate you.

I believe this, but what really matters is that we believe this.... Thank you for having me at the ASEAN Women in Leadership event hosted by ASEAN Alliance Council, Commonwealth Bank and ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership. An event showcasing the amazing women in leadership roles within our business community locally and internationally.

We are all part of a much larger picture and have a responsibility not only to our family and friends but the world. No one is a stranger, a stranger today may be our neighbour tomorrow.... I’m excited to join the ASEAN Alliance Council as a Board Director and look forward to working with the amazing team to promote trade, cooperation and cultural exchange between businesses in WA and the ASEAN region.

04.01.2022 I like to go for strolls around the city, talking to business owners and the friendly people of Perth. A couple weeks ago, Joseph and I went for our routine stroll and we ended up making friends with Suzanne. A week later, we organized a collaborative photo shoot between @rosendorffdiamonds and @zenithtailors. This is why I love Perth, there are friendly people willing to give others opportunities.... Experiencing the value of human connection and interaction is priceless.

04.01.2022 Opportunities that challenge you and take you out of your comfort zone is an opportunity to be taken. When I accepted the invitation to be part of a Panel for Personal Brand there was some fear because it was a new experience for me but the feeling of fear is normal as it’s biological. When we overcome that fear, that’s when we grow. It was a fantastic experience, the two main points that we emphasised to the attendees was building relationships and being genuine/authenti...c when doing it. This will enable you to achieve a successful long term Personal Brand. Thank you to the other panelist, your advice was very valuable.
