25.01.2022 Hello lovely totspot people!!! We hope you have had a restful term break. This week we will be busy cleaning and organising all our totspot toys and props, so we will be all ready to start with totspot sessions next week (29 April)!! Can’t wait to see you then!!

We will let you know when we are able to welcome you all back for more fun and music!!

15.01.2022 Hello wonderful TOTSPOT families. We want you to know that the TOTSPOT team misses you all and are working hard to find ways to continue TOTSPOT sessions in a different format. As we all try to work out what these changes mean for us remember in the coming days, weeks and months to be gentle with yourself and be gentle with your precious children. None of this situation that we now find ourselves in is normal, so any and all of our reactions will be in response to finding ou...rselves in an abnormal situation. Each of us will be grieving significant losses - the loss of physical connection, the loss of routine, the loss of employment (the list goes on, but I am sure that you get the idea). My point is that we will all process that grief in different ways and our behaviour (and our childrens') will reflect that processing. By all means provide your kids with educational opportunities and facilitate any tasks that your school might provide. But don't feel like you must replicate the school environment in your home. What your child needs right now is a safe place to 'feel' their feelings. Answer their questions openly and honestly, tell them that it's okay to feel upset that their assembly item had to be cancelled or their school camp can't happen or that they can't see their friends right now. Tell them that you are sad about things that you can't do anymore too. Find things to do together that you all enjoy and make those a priority. Sometimes the housework and schoolwork can wait. They will come through this experience stronger and wiser, and will mostly likely teach you a thing or two about how to handle difficult situations.

10.01.2022 In light of the unfolding COVID-19 situation, the TOTSPOT team have made the decision to end the term early. Sessions for the rest of term 1 are cancelled. It is too early to decide when we will begin running sessions again, but we will do our best to keep our wonderful families informed of our plans. This is a precautionary measure to protect the safety of all users of our shared space at Broome Anglican Church.
