The issue of violent students and parents has prompted pleas from some who say more needs to be done to ensure the safety of school staff. Toucan Difference can help. 24.01.2022 Toucan Difference has been very quite as the creator has been working hard teaching art and music. Sample of students work and engagement. More happening in the New Year with time for preparation after Term 4 ends.

15.01.2022 I have gone back to teaching in the classroom and loving it. I would have to agree with Kathy Margolis however that children are being pushed too hard and too fast. There is not enough time to engage in what they are enjoying for learning, instead they are pushed on to get through the curriculum. Having been in Intervention for 24 years it breaks my heart to see children express their hopelessness and be defeated at such a young age when too much is expected of them. I wonder when the time will come that the child is expected to read when they are born! Its a bit like putting Easter eggs out for sale one week after Christmas!
