20.01.2022 Another great photo of the Milky Way by Dale when he stayed at Touchdown recently. Thanks to Dale and DALEMAC Photography

20.01.2022 Angel wings on a perfect Autumn Day at Touchdown Cottages Jindabyne.

18.01.2022 He's back. Last year a regular visitor. Should I send this photo to the Bird Identification Page and ask what bird is that drinking out of the Bird bath? I could suggest it is a Kiwi on steroids.

18.01.2022 This year the snow does not want to let up.

18.01.2022 Nathalie and Louis from Canada staying at Touchdown Cottages. They are flying around Australia and flew off to Tasmania this morning in their spectacular Heliocourrier. They heard about Touchdown Cottages from a friend in Canada. www.touchdowncottages.com

13.01.2022 Navy Helicopters at Touchdown. Here to celebrate Jindabyne Anzac day celebrations

11.01.2022 A whole beautiful lake for locals only. After all the visitors were warned off due to the fires the locals have it all to ourselves. A beautiful day in Jindabyne. The lake is quiet, the town is quiet and the roads are quiet. Luckily the fires have not come within 30klms. Fingers crossed.

10.01.2022 Master Stonemason Ken Baxter carefully chipping and positioning every rock in one of our 2 new cottages. Every rock is sourced on site. Ken's work is more like art than building construction.

09.01.2022 Green grass has replaced the bare earth. Newly planted Eucalypts are growing well. In the future they will replace the aging habitat trees. All is looking good.

07.01.2022 Another Touchdown at Touchdown. The Navy dropping in for their annual Alpine training.

06.01.2022 Cool, crisp, clear mountain days and only 2 weeks to the start of the ski season.

05.01.2022 New entrance sign.

03.01.2022 Our neighbors for a while. They are hopefully mopping up the fires. No fires come within 30ks of Jindabyne but due to the approaching danger people were advised not to come and tourists who were here were told to evacuate. Thredbo is now open and visitors are being welcomed back. Touchdown Cottages lost the whole month of January's trade. The whole town has faired the same and is suffering.
