23.01.2022 It’s one thing to raise awareness, promote acceptance and understanding of people with disability, but another to truly unite and enact inclusivity and universal accessibility into the everyday. We couldn’t agree more!!! We are so chuffed to be celebrating today’s International Day of People with Disability with an award. Gunnedah's Livvi's Place all-inclusive playground recognised at the 2020 Kidsafe National Playspace Design Awards. ... The judges gave Livvi’s Place the accolade as one of the top 4 playgrounds built in Australia in the last 2 years as providing a great opportunity for diversity in play and delivering an all-inclusive, all-abilities playspace. Congratulations to the Gunnedah community led by local mum Ashley Bender. Ashley, whose son was diagnosed with autism at age 2, began advocating for a safe place for all children to play by starting a petition in 2013. Livvi’s Place Gunnedah finally opened late last year, and as the judges commented, this playspace is a wonderful example of what a vision can do to provide a much loved facility. Today we reflect on our actions and encourage everyone out there to do their bit for a more inclusive society! Today should be everyday - c’mon Australia - together we can build back better. #inclusive #livvisplace

23.01.2022 We are pink and proud!! Unveiling our new messaging. Simple social impact. #communityatourcore #collectiveimpact #EverybodyCounts #inclusive

19.01.2022 Today is world kindness day. It’s purpose is to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on positive power and the common thread of kindness which binds us. Maybe it’s a chance to reflect on this crazy year and how your community has rallied, supported and contributed to those who’ve needed a helping hand or a shoulder to lean on. A cause very dear to our heart is Fly High Billie- a charity that commemorates young Billie Kinder’s life by promoting empathy and compassion in children to reduce mental health issues, bullying and suicide. From today through the weekend, Fly High Billie is hosting a virtual kindness walk to help create a kinder world. Why not take some steps of your own and join this movement https://fundraise.flyhighbillie.org/event/walkforkindness #kindnessmatters #communityatourcore

07.01.2022 The consultation signalling chapter 2 of TBO’s dream of creating a more inclusive society is continuing this week. The Living Room at Timbrell Park will become a reality with your help! All feedback, suggestions and support is welcomed to ensure we can create a space where everybody belongs. #inclusive #communityatourcore #socialenterprise #disabilityemployment

06.01.2022 We love your work Bec - you are a tireless advocate of inclusiveness. These stories need to be listened to by everyone! We all need to play our part. #everybodycounts

04.01.2022 The African proverb "It takes a village to raise a child' embodies the spirit of community. It represents the sentiment that an entire community of people must interact with children for those children to experience and grow in a safe and healthy environment. And, when organisations within communities interact together, the whole community benefits. Thank you Balmain Junior Touch Association for being part of our shared vision to raise not only our children, but our entire community! #planktober #thelivingroom #inclusive #communityatourcore #EverybodyCounts
