21.01.2022 TFT has today sent invitations to all selected players to join the TASSIE THUNDER 2021 NTL Opens squads. If you haven't received yours and believe you should have check your junk mail folder. We look forward to seeing all of you take up your places and commence training in the near future.

20.01.2022 TFT are calling for applications for coaches and assistants for Tasmania Thunder Junior teams for our 2021 program of National Youth Championships and School Sport Australia National Tournament. Positions will commence Monday 1 Feb, following the current teams competing in the Junior Alliance Cup. Follow the below link to submit an application. Applications close Friday 15 January 2021.

19.01.2022 Due to insufficient team nominations TFT have made the difficult decision to cancel the proposed Champions League for 2020. We thank the few teams that nominated for their enthusiasm and willingness to try something new.

08.01.2022 Touch Football Tasmania expresses our thanks to Chris Nason who has completed his term as President of Launceston Touch Association. Chris's enthusiasm and hard work has left LTA in a strong position in terms of participation and financial position, and his dedication to his membership has been greatly appreciated by all. We wish him the best, and hope to see him in similar positions of influence within the Tasmanian Touch Football community soon.

04.01.2022 Touch Football Tasmania have created an opportunity for Launceston residents to get a little Touch action in these colder months. A six week mixed competition will run at the Australian Maritime College Rugby field, at the University of Tasmania, commencing on Sunday 4 July. Each day of competition will run begin at 2pm, and will be as social as we can make it. If you want to get a team together, go for it. Alternatively register individually and we will put you into teams. Registration will be $50 per player. 03.01.2022 Calling all past, current and potential whistle blowers - things are getting dire in our competition. Our new manager is doing an amazing job dealing with a bra...nd new system in her first season, I’m asking that we support her and the LTA by chipping in and refereeing where possible. The workload is being done by a small amount of mostly young refs (apart from Mick ) and we can’t afford to burn them out - PLEASE if you are able to help let Ange know ASAP! Thanks, Josh See more
