18.01.2022 Once this crazy time is over many people will g benefit from the relational touch BCST has to offer - especially as we will be even more deprived of human touch than ever before.

11.01.2022 We stopped listening to our hearts and intuition but it is more revels time than ever to get back in touch with ourself to promote health and well being. Craniosacral Therapy can help you to be get listening again.

09.01.2022 Your presence and skillful touch has the capacity to create deep change in another human being. In the dynamic of relational touch, there is the potential for ...new feelings, new stories and new meanings to arise. Truth emerges as a shared story between client and therapist, informed by phenomena of being within a sensitive organism. Human beings are polyrhythmic, and we are always striving for health and coherance. With the support of skilled touch, the rhythms in the body can sometimes coalesce into a feeling of wholeness and health. How does actually this happen? I recommend using embodied presence supported by skillful touch in the following ways; 1. Use non-doing, ‘relational touch’, that listens without fixed agendas and supports coherent rhythms and order to emerge. 2. Be cautious. We can have perceptions of other people, but we can wildly over interpret what we feel. In the absence of the possibility of objective knowing, it is good to be super cautious. Truth emerges in the dynamic between the client and therapist. 3. Aim to generate concepts that promote health and sensations of joy, ease and agency and focus on stories of safety and agency. Expand people’s ‘felt sense’ capabilities. Try shifting the narrative of self away from limiting metaphors of damage and permanency to adaptability and renewal. 4. Consider the whole person and the totality of their story. From pre and perinatal experiences, to adverse childhood events, to being embedded in oppressive and unequal power structures in society and culture. This supports people to self-regulate and develop resilience in the face of a morass of intense, and often overwhelming, feelings, drives and behaviours. If these approaches inspire you, I invite you to join me for my upcoming free webinar where I’ll explore them in depth, as well as introducing our upcoming 2 year practitioner course in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in London in 2020. 07.01.2022 As the year comes to an end I reflect on the wonders I was blessed to experience this year. I am now getting ready to become more active as a practitioner again and if you like to relax and counteract the stresses of this holiday season contact me for a treatment.
