21.01.2022 To all my customers, friends and family here and around the world. May this year be full of creation, new opportunities, abundance and love. Happy new year

21.01.2022 Meet this beautiful fungi - common named Witches Butter. It is a Jelly fungus in the family Tremellaceae and you can find it growing year round on decaying branches ( it is referred to as survival food ). While it may not look so appealing it is edible. Witches butter has been reported to have very slight to no taste at all. It can be used in cooking as an addition to soups and stews.... These mushrooms has medicinal potency and have been shown to have anti-tumor properties, as well as potential to treat some respiratory conditions. It's common name comes from the folklore believe that when it grow on your door frame you were under a spell , stabbing it with a sharp object was the remedy. My own experience - I have decided to try the taste of the Witches butter - it didn't taste like much but when I inhaled it had a cool feeling to it on my tongue. I haven't tried to cook it yet, but as soon as I will I will update my finds. . . . . * Disclaimer: Every year people are poisoned by eating wild mushrooms that closely resemble edible species. Although mushroom poisonings are rare in the grand scheme of things, be aware that you are responsible for proper identification AND consulting multiple sources for your identification. I am not a mushroom expert, nor do I claim to be. I’ve written this based on my own research because I enjoy sharing the fruits of my own mycological journey with others. 10.01.2022 Hi everyone. There are still some mushrooms out there but they are becoming really scares, you really need to hunt them down hahaha! 06.01.2022 Much recommended Fungi movie to watch!!! You will be amazed Watch the trailer https://youtu.be/bxABOiay6oA

06.01.2022 One of the beautiful mushrooms we found this season. I just want to show you how confusing it can sometimes be identifying what you are looking at. What I thought was a specific mushroom assuming I can identify it according to pictures I have seen before was very wrong! when I asked for advise from the "elders" ( hahaha...I call the experts like that) and was told I was identifying it wrong I realized again how specific you need to be when Identifying a fungi and how import...ant it is!! What I thought to be a Laccaria was nothing but another Cortinarius and you can't eat those...these type of Laccaria are rare in this region. Luckily it was such a pretty mushroom, I left it alone and didn't harvest it to consume This is a very important lesson to all you Mushroom lovers out there - make sure you have a true identification and always ask for a second and third opinion - don't trust pictures alone - do a thorough identification check. If you ever go wild mushroom picking make sure you know your mushroom 200% before you consume it

05.01.2022 I believe we had a happy little fairy joining our walk on Saturday I'm not so sure the rest of the gang saw her...she was so excited, dancing around between the mushrooms hahaha Come and join us on our weekly walks to admire the beautiful wild mushrooms out there. These events are family friendly and we provide light refreshments at the end + a taste of our yummy mushroom tea :)

04.01.2022 Today I went back to see and photograph the Morels we left behind last week and see if the rain brought out some new ones. Well, at least the creatures in the woods have enjoyed what we left behind Here is a read about the Australian Morels - ... https://www.milkwood.net//09/26/foraging-australian-morels/ Enjoy
