25.01.2022 Well what a year it’s been already. I am feeling so grateful and so appreciative of all my clients support and love, I am so glad you chose me to be your cleaner. I never thought i would be able to achieve the things I have and I’m over the moon with excitement and cannot wait to see where it takes me. And everyday I go to work it gives me the greatest pleasure to know that what I am doing is helping make your lives a little less stressful and for some helping your own businesses take off. So to you all, THANK YOU for believing in me and sticking by me even through my tough times, like having a moon boot, and I assure you it will only get better once I make a full recovery

21.01.2022 Just wanted to give an update on the broken ankle Well I am off the crutches but still in the moon boot as I still require the support of the boot I am back working solo and its a little bit slower than I would normally be but slow and steady wins the race they say My next appointment at the hospital is February 7th so fingers crossed the bone has rejoined in the correct position and I can possibly start physio to gain the strength needed back in the ankle So it’s not ve...ry exciting but it’s small steps and I will try in the next few weeks to put weight on my ankle not wearing the boot but not doing that anytime soon it’s makes me nervous just thinking about it lol But thanks again to each and every single one of my amazing clients for your support, understanding, patience and LOVE shown it certainly has made healing and coping a much smoother ride so I really do thank you and appreciate everything greatly Thanks again Rae

20.01.2022 So just a quick update not that I have much to add to my last post Still unable to put any weight on my ankle and starting to get annoyed wearing the moon boot and having to use crutches but trying to stay positive and taking one day at a time. Hopefully Thursday’s appointment will give me some idea of the time frame I will be limited with everything Some updated pics my son took of my ankle Saturday evening the multi coloured bruising is showing more and more But after Thursday I will have a better idea as to what the future has in store for me Thanks again to everyone for your support and understanding and the LOVE I have received certainly has helped me with this entire situation so I want to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the amazing messages I have received are appreciated and LOVED so thank you

20.01.2022 So as your all aware 3.5 months ago I broke my ankle and have been living in a moon boot well I can officially say THE MOON BOOT is off and not coming back YAY I have a lot of hard work ahead with physio as I lost a lot of muscle and my entire ankle/ foot is very stiff but I will push forwards and complete my physio tasks and hopefully if all goes well I should regain my strength and stability in a couple of months is the aim But I am just so happy to not have to wear the b...oot anymore it’s the best feeling ever Again thank you to my amazing family, friends and clients for all your support, love, understanding and patience without it I wouldn’t be where I am now so I am forever in your debt and forever grateful Now just to tackle Corona Hey Please everyone stay safe and look after each other and we will see the other side of this also Love to you all See more

19.01.2022 So tomorrow morning I will find out if my ankle is healed and I can start to wean out of this damn moon boot fingers and toes Crossed I can as I am well and truly over wearing it Has been 3.5 months since my leg has seen sunlight and freedom hahahahha so I am feeling excited and a little bit anxious but bring on tomorrow morning I say Thank you again for your support and love it certainly has helped me push through the tough days to say the least so THANK YOU I will update you tomorrow with my news I promise Have a great afternoon / evening

16.01.2022 How quickly ones life can change Healthy loving each and every day to bed ridden in pain with the unknown all before Xmas. So in a nut shell I was playing squash in my Grand final Tuesday morning and winning my match I must add when I took a step and I heard a crack and instant pain in my ankle which I couldn’t put any weight on either So I am crying instantly from the pain and being helped out of the court My leg elevated on a chair and my shoe taken off the swelling i...n my ankle was instant and the pain was out of this world. Ambulance was called and lucky for me a single car was in the area Andy came to see me and set me up with the green whistle thank you Andy lol Once I had a few big sucks of that he took my sock off and my ankle was swollen and didn’t look right The second ambulance arrived and strapped me onto the bed and off I go to hospital X-rays done couldn’t see much so a CT ordered and well the fracture was seen So my left Talus is fractured and I am currently in a moon boot with an appointment next Thursday morning at the fracture clinic but from what I have read about this fracture 8-12 weeks is the time frame unless surgery is required. So I am sorry to report I am out of action currently but have my daughter and mum willing to help me out to prevent loosing many clients. Worst timing ever being so close to Xmas I still can’t believe that it’s happened. I will keep you updated as best as I can and when I am not under the influence of the strong pain killers I have to take Thank you for your support, kind thoughts and well wishes they have been a great boost for me to keep pushing through the pain Just a couple of pics I had taken in hospital See more

16.01.2022 So the BEST news I could ever receive on Friday I can finally stop wearing the moon boot and wean myself into wearing normal shoes as long as I continue to do my physio exercises and not push beyond my limits I won’t have any problems looking forward So back to work finally with both feet in sneakers YAY I will certainly have a ceremony of the boot in the near future and will share this event with you for SURE So again thank you all so very much for all the support, kind...ness and patience you have shown me these last 3 1/2 months it has made the difference in keeping me sane and pushing forwards so I really can’t thank you enough So here’s too an incident free, smooth sailing recovery from the moon boot See more

14.01.2022 I just realised I haven’t given my recent update on my ankle since my Hospital appointment Friday So the news was ok it could have been better it certainly could have been much worse So at this stage I DO NOT require surgery YAY which i was over the moon about but I need to keep wearing the Moon Boot for at least the next 6 weeks while I start physio to strengthen my ankle and wean out of the moon boot So now I am anxiously waiting to hear from Physio to start the next ...phase of this bloody nightmare and to be able to wear a shoe again and feel sturdy and safe walking around and being free lol So at worst I could be in the moon boot for no longer than 8 weeks if all runs smoothly going forwards which I can suck up and cope with I think without too much trouble Also I want to say THANK - YOU to each and every one of my amazing supportive clients who have stood by me and not given up on me or my ability to work and at the high standard I provide each and every day so from the bottom of my heart I THANK-YOU and appreciate each and everyone of you so very much. And to my amazing family and friends who have shown the same support, understanding and LOVE if I didn’t have this I am pretty confident to say that I wouldn’t be progressing like I am without it so THANK YOU also. Words just don’t seem to cut it at how much it has helped me and keep me pushing forwards but words on here is pretty much the only way to show how grateful I truly am So what’s another 8 weeks wearing this moon boot around lol easy now hahahahha See more

12.01.2022 Well probably the best outcome I could of asked for today and it’s baby steps now until my final date in February Just finished at the hospital and it was ligament which has pulled the smallest piece of bone off the Talus so no surgery is needed YAY So as of today within 5 weeks time I need to start attempting to put weight on my ankle and while I am at home can take the moon boot off while resting thank god that things weighs a ton and is such a bulking thing ... Within 2 months time which is my next appointment at the hospital I should be off the crutches and weight bearing completely So it’s still taking it easy and little steps until recovered but positive news going forwards which I am so very pleased about to say the least Thanks again to everyone for your support, understanding, well wishes and LOVE shown to me it has certainly helped me push through this and it is very much appreciated Lots of Love Rae
