A two-day course for beginners who have either completed Julia’s Drawing for the Terrified course or who have some basic understanding of drawing in tone. Julia refers to the ‘rules of seeing’ that she teaches in her introductory drawing course to help you avoid simple mistakes, and shows you step by step techniques that will boost your confidence in using this medium. 06.01.2022 A new challenge from Steph Fizer Coleman arrived this evening. Funnily enough, that's exactly the same task I set my class to do today! I did give them some tools to choose from, rather than asking them to go and find them. We then tried drawing a scene with the new tools - and the results were spectacular! Give yourself five minutes (set a timer!) Search your home and choose at least one unusual material to draw or paint with. Now set a timer for 30 minutes and start drawin...g or painting! You can start by experimenting with the different textures, shapes, and lines you can create. Then see where that leads you. Keep going for the entire 30 minutes and have fun!
