23.01.2022 OSTRICH Wing fitted to this well setup 79 of Jims. Custom brackets were fabricated by Tough Touring to suit this aluminium tube rack. We are now productionising a versitile set of awning brackets to suit racks like this unit and other racks with similar characteristics.

21.01.2022 Ostrich anwning installation on this awesome poptop Troopy for Emma and Anthony from Troopy Travel. Bit of fabrication was required to set it up with the lack of a roof rack to mount to but it has turned out very nicely and with the combination of the Ostrich wall kit makes this tough Troopy a true home away from home.

15.01.2022 Neat FJ has been back in the shop for some goodies this week. Previously we installed the K9 roof rack and mounted the Ostrich wing awning. We also relocated the primary cranking battery and replaced it with an Optima Red Top to make the most of the potential space in the engine bay and fabricated a new battery tray to suit the new 100ah Lead Crystal! The charge the system properly a Redarc BCDC was installed and is now fed by the 200w solar panel which is mounted to the rack... but easily removed if needed. The owner wanted to be able to safely secure his Waeco fridge in the place of the dual passenger seat and retain the single back seat. We have fabricated a purpose built tray to bolt to the factory seat mounts and strap the fridge down with x4 rated straps. The tray is easily removable to throw the seat back in. Power has also been run back to the cargo area in the rear for powering the fridge, 300w pure sine inverter and the Baintech power panel. Looms have been run in preparation for a roof mounted light bar and area lights for the near future. See more

13.01.2022 Very excited about the build up of this UEV 310. Today we have completed the suspension, axle and electric brake rework. It now sits on eye to eye leaf springs for some extra lift and articulation. The new 2t axle is fitted with 10" electric brakes. Still to come is a draw bar extension and offroad coupling. This rig only weighs in at 450kg! Give us a call if you want to hear more about it.

12.01.2022 Bundu and Ostrich wing combo fitted up to this monster of a rig. 300w solar panel on the Bundutop rooftop tent taking care of the power. This King size Bundu is 1600mm wide and makes quite the penthouse suite for this F350.

07.01.2022 Today we fitted up a Bundutec electric roof top tent with wired in 24v solar. The Bundu looks right at home on Toms ex-military Land Rover Perentie.

07.01.2022 Moremi electric roof top tent fitted tonight on this Hilux before it heads to the Cape at the end of the week. Looks great and maintains as much of the Hiluxs capabilities as it only weighs in at 40kg.

07.01.2022 An Ostrich Wing awning fitted today To Camerons Hilux with some custom brackets to mount to the roll bar at the rear and onto the Oval roof rack at the front. It turned out very well and its safe to say Cameron is looking forward to trying out his new bit of gear this weekend!

07.01.2022 IMPORTANT NEWS ON BUNDUTOP TENTS FITTED WITH SOLAR Weve had a customers 300w solar panel tear off a bundutop - the panel was lost, fortunatley no damage was done to the tent or any other parties. Weve thoroughly assessed the failure - And determined the factors were: *extreme wind ... *high vehicle speed *combined wind gust off a truck or similar coming the other way. *Large size of the 300w panel in particular. *Rivets worked their way through the aluminum sheet on roof over time. Were not wanting another one to come off EVER - If you have a 300w solar panel fitted to your bundutop tent, please check the condition of the rivets holding it in place. If you are unsure of the strength of the fittings - come past anytime and well check it, and strengthen if necessary. Cheers - mark

04.01.2022 Craigs 80 series Cruiser is now all decked out with his new Bundutop roof top tent and Ostrich wing awning, mounted with the Tough Touring awning brackets to suit the Bundu. The Bundu has been equipped with a 300w solar panel and feeds a new 30 amp smart regulator, keeping the batteries at optimal charge. We made up some simple roof bars using some custom and some K9 (by Eezi Awn) components to keep the roof weight, overall height and cost to a minimun. Safe to say Craigs a happy man
