24.01.2022 Toukley Junior Golf Well what a big weekend of golf! Friday Junior Comp Great turn out on Friday arvo with some great golf to go with it . ... Winner of the 5 hole - Harry Beattie Winner of the 9 hole Blake Cranston Well done to all the winners see you on Friday. Big shout out to Dimi Papadatos for spending some time on the course with the Juniors Friday afternoon, sharing some handy tips to help improve their games. Highlight for the juniors was Dimi holing out on the par 4 5th hole for eagle there was plenty fist pumping going on by all, also signed a few golf balls for the young 5 holers, Thanks Dimi. On Saturday 2 of our former Juniors went head to head on Saturday in the club A grade Match play championship. All square after 18 holes Beau and Keegan went down 19th squaring that with Birdies and on the 20th Beau holing out a long Putt for Birdie to take the title. Great few months for Beau winning Club Champion, Match play Champion and District Champion. Well done to both Beau and Keegan, great sportsmanship and great golf for all the juniors to see. Also over the weekend In the Brett Ogle Junior Masters at Goulburn Golf Club Ann Jang has taken out the Girls Division with a great score of even par over 2 rounds. Well done!! Sunday morning Junior Development program It was another cracking morning on the range moving into week 3 of the program both sessions focused on warm up routine and ball control. With Pat out in front showing the importance of stretching legs, arms and back then moving into warm up shots. Then focusing on hitting targets with 7 irons and moving up through the bag to the drivers to finish the sessions off. Well done everyone, all showing massive improvement.

20.01.2022 Toukley Junior Golf The last 2 weeks has been action packed full of fun golf activities, with our final junior competition and Junior development program for the year. This week we had the Jack Newton Age Championship In Moss vale and Mt Broughton Country Club. It was great to see so many kids playing from the District. Well done to all that played and all the winners over the week great efforts. See below links for results ... Sunday morning Junior Development program Being the last session for the year Trent and Pat set up a few holes on the range and teamed the kids up to play an Ambrose format, playing a long hole and a few shorter holes. Finishing it off with the Pros Vs the Kids. With Pats competitive nature he just scraped in to beat the juniors by 1 shot. Well done Pat and on behalf of all the Juniors thank you for the past 6 weeks. The kids have loved every minute of it and we wish you the best of luck with your golf in 2021. Also a big thankyou goes to Trent for the great job you are doing with the Sub-Juniors and certainly our other young guns out there playing in the Junior events, great coaching. To John and the team In the pro shop thank you for everything over the past year and also big thankyou to Mark Hall for helping out every Friday also Todd and Matt and the other parents for helping out on Sundays. To Finish off the year we had our Christmas party, big thanks to Golf Santa for delaying his Tee time to drop in and hand out a few presents, it was heaps of fun. Best dressed prize went to Harry great costume mate. Have a great Christmas and we will see you on the golf course.

15.01.2022 Toukley Junior Golf Friday Junior Comp Unfortunately this week 13.11.20, due to potential dangerous storms Junior competition was called off . ... See you all this coming Friday 20.11.20 at 3.30pm . Junior Development program Another great turn out for the junior development program. This week Trent and Pat split the beginner into two groups, Trent lining his group up on the range starting with some warm up exercises before getting the big dog out and unleashing some drivers down the range. After some adjustment from Trent it wasn’t long before the girls were knocking them past the boys. Big stand out was Ava, wow she’s got some game !! Also Harry wasn’t missing many shots either knocking them down the middle nearly every time. Well done. After the recent Ping demo day and seeing Pat chip in 3 time in a row his confidence was flying high so Pat took the second group to the pitching green, showing some basic fundamentals and control around the greens. Great to see a few balls rolling into holes. Big standout was Zac and Isla for picking it up really quickly and everyone having heaps of fun. In the advance Juniors session This week was all about the short game. Pat giving the group some simple drills and demonstrating some smarter shots around the greens to help reduce their scores on the Course. When you’re young you have no fear so the standard shot is the 60 degrees with plenty of spin no matter where you are on the course. Pat talked to the group about the importance of having a few different shots in your bag for around the greens like bump and run, high and soft and most important your stock shot. Young Brant nailed every shot and it certainly paid off that afternoon in the Sunday competition having his best score ever with 41 points well done Brant. Big shout out to Beau Willett for taking out the District Championship yesterday well done.

11.01.2022 Toukley Junior Golf Friday Junior Comp Junior 5 hole and 9 hole comp is moving in to its 3rd week, with great attendance and some great golf being played by all the young junior golfers ... Well done weeks 2 winners 5 Hole winners : Mathias O’Connell 9 Hole Winners: Tom McMahan 9 Hole R/Up: Bailey Miller Junior Development program Well what a great weekend, finally got some good weather and we were able to kick off of Junior cadets and sub junior development program. With a great turn out in the cadets program and some new faces as well, also great to see 3 new young ladies joining the program. With Trent and Pat our professionals showing the kids the basics of golf on the range and on the putting green it wasn’t long before they were taking the chocolates off them in the putting comp!! In the Sub -Junior session Pat Joseph started off the session with warm up exercises and distance control drills. Looking forward to seeing what’s in store for next weeks session Well done everyone, looked like everyone was having heaps of fun See you all next weekend. 11.01.2022 New Junior Clinic! 10 Spots are now available for our Junior Beginners Clinic (aged 9-14). The clinic will run 8am Sunday Mornings for the duration of 8 weeks, starting on Sunday 25th October with our golfing Professionals Trent & Pat.
