24.01.2022 You can have a real impact on cancer patients and their families this Christmas. Hear from Dr Matt Dun about why funding is vital for cancer researchers. Brain cancer is the leading cause of death in children and funding from Tour de Cure has allowed Dr Dun to develop new treatment strategies for a brain cancer called DIPG. Research gives hope by improving outcomes for the most vulnerable members of our community. Please dig deep this Christmas and donate to our Christmas appeal. All donations will be matched by Lexus Australia until Sunday 20 December. Donate today: https://christmas.tourdecure.com.au/

13.01.2022 Did you know we have spoken with over 160,000 school kids on how to prevent cancer via our 'Be Fit, Be Healthy, Be Happy' message? This is such an important part of what we do - to educate the next generation about cancer, it's prevention and making healthy lifestyle choices. We’re incredibly grateful to Newman's Own Foundation for their support of our schools program, allowing us to reach further into regional school communities. We love nothing more than educating the kids, so that they become health ambassadors to their families and friends. Thank you so much Newman's!
12.01.2022 Cancer will touch each of us in some way or another, whether it's through a loved one’s diagnosis, or someone we know. It's vital that we keep our researchers working on a cure and improving cancer treatments. Jp knows this only too well after losing his wife, Hassia to cancer in 2018. So he decided to run 100km as part of K’s To Cure Cancer so no one else has to go through what he and his son Lucien went through. Check out his story and be inspired by his dedication. JP has... enjoyed K’s To Cure Cancer so much that he has had to re-evaluate his k’s target and is now aiming for 150km by the end of November. We love your work JP! You can help keep JP on track. 04.01.2022 We’re so grateful to Tour de Rocks and Optus Enterprise for co-funding this amazing project at the Children's Cancer Institute which aims to improve the treatment of children’s high-risk sarcomas. This exciting new therapy will stimulate the patient’s own immune system to kill cancer cells using immune checkpoint inhibitors. It’s projects like this that will help to find better treatments for those with cancer. You can help. Donate today: http://donate.tourdecure.com.au
