21.01.2022 This Sunday is the Lions Ride For Sight Tour de Flinders It will finish at ‘Wonderland’ just past Yellow Beach Following the ride there will be a healthy BBQ w...hich includes desserts. All are welcome to attend the BBQ it’s only $10.00 per head. After the BBQ there will be an auction of twenty odd lots to raise money for the Sightfirst Campaign. The auction will be carried out by our favourite and very talented Col Wilson. The following Richmond print is one lot that will be available on the day. 21.01.2022 This weekend is the Le Tour de Flinders weekend. Starting with the market on Saturday morning with all the usual goodies plus a few extras. Lions have a raffle,... book/DVD stall and bacon/egg rolls - come for breakfast!! Sunday is the bike ride Lady Barron to Whitemark and return - join anywhere along the way. Downhill Family Fun ride with Mountain Biking Flinders Island. 18.01.2022 A FUN bike ride for people of all ages! Children are especially encouraged to ride. We would love to see you there!... Sunday 8th of March! Meet at the top of Vinegar Hill at 11:30am with bikes and helmets. Mountain Biking Flinders Island and The Lions Club are hosting a family downhill adventure ride. A few kilometres long, this fun easy ride is for people of all ages. Starting at the top of Vinegar Hill, this ride takes place on dirt tracks with some exciting navigating along the way. Ride ends at Wonderland, the hosting property just past Yellow Beach, where all rides end and where lunch will be enjoyed. All proceeds from the ride & lunch go to Lions for Sight Campaign. Cost - $20.00 per rider OR $40.00 for four family members! This entry fee includes the healthy BBQ at the end of the ride. 04.01.2022 Imagine if Sunday 5th May is like today. Wouldn't it be awesome riding your bike to Lady Barron either from Whitemark or the whole loop. Call into Robert's and grab your entry form remember you can ride all or some of the way, there is a wagon to give you and your bike a rest. Also all children are encouraged to participate for any length of the ride as long as they are accompanied by an adult if they are 14 or under. Come on get on you bike!!! Don't forget the auction and bbq at the end, if you dont want to ride, only $10.00 for a great feed and the chance to pick up a bargain in the auction.
