11.01.2022 New restrictions have been enforced today for Victorians who live in Greater Melbourne, due to another positive case that requires investigation. The most important thing for you to know at the moment is that Greater Melbourne residents are still able to travel regionally, however the restrictions that apply to them in Melbourne, also apply to them in regional Victoria. This includes wearing masks inside venues while walking around, only visiting a household with less that ...five people and only attending public gatherings of 30 people or less. Venue capacities will remain the same as they follow a COVID-Safe plan and have the Victorian QR code check-in. As things are developing quickly and more questions are being raised, we will hold off on our email communications with members until this afternoon. In the meantime, we have found this feed really useful as ABC News transcribe questions and examples as they come to hand live. 02.01.2022 IT'S TIME TO REOPEN Welcome announcement from the Premier today with restrictions easing again and more light at the end of the tunnel, hopefully on 8 November. If case numbers continue to go down, we'll have Metro Melbourne on the same level of restriction as regional Victoria and - importantly - all those Melburnians who've been in lockdown will be able to move freely around the state. ... We'll have info and links (including the up-to-date guidelines for sectors that have changed a little in the past couple of days) in an update to our members soon. Not a member yet?
