16.01.2022 Just had confirmation that we have been granted a new license for the west side of Hervey Bay on 87.8 FM Hopefully will get it on the air in the next few weeks

16.01.2022 This is a computer predicted coverage of our 3 X Tourist Radio stations which when our new station comes on air (hopefully next week) will cover most of the Hervey Bay area, This is when received on a decent car radio

06.01.2022 Meeting tomorrow (Tuesday the 19th Dec.) at the River Heads Community Hall starting at 10 am. All are welcome
06.01.2022 Hopefully we will be installing an antenna at our new site (Sunshine Acres) next Thursday 8th June. Big thanks to Scott at Hervey Bay Caravan Storage for letting us use his existing mast of which he doesn't use any more.
05.01.2022 Just a reminder that we have an important meeting tomorrow at the community hall starting at 9 am We will have some VIP guests coming from the Tairo community radio station (107.1 FM) who hopefully will explain there role in the community (as well as being a disaster recovery center) Should be an interesting meeting All are welcome
04.01.2022 Our new custom built transmitter for our main Booral site transmitting on 87.8 FM Now installed in our new shed with temporary shelving (now looking for a decent 19" rack cabinet to install it in) Hopefully (when I get time to finish building it) there will be a power supply/UPS with battery backup & possibly solar panels fitted to power everything. The original transmitter will now be used at our new site at Sunshine Acres (Once it's had a service) & will be on the air sometime next week.
