09.01.2022 The 2020 Tour of the Jacarandas on the 17th Oct 2020 will be seeding the majority of its proceeds, less the on-line fees and a small percentage of management fe...es, to the Ladybird Foundation. This is the perfect social cycling event to get on your bike after all the months of social riding with your family and friends to make a difference to a charity in need especially during this time. Cyclists if you are established - take this opportunity to invite along and ride with your less established cycling friends and always remember that the slow ride is when you enjoy what cycling provides you within the community and the sights around us. 06.01.2022 The lone tree near to Greenhills Tavern was responsible some thirty years ago for the creation of the Tour of York which is in its 8th year running. From a quest of finding beautiful places around our countryside to share with others bourned these events some 20 years ago and the quest for betterment is an unending one. This quest is of course aided in an amazing way by like minded people that form my Crew from the Perth Integrated Events Team all of whom are also integral me...mbers of the Blue Army per the Perth Cycling Group that I have the privilege to lead. The 2019 Tour of York is a format that I will keep as the coverage of the beautiful countryside was achieved today even to a point where I managed to enjoy brief moments on my own bike. More photos and news to follow this evening and tomorrow in the Event Director's report. The event commenced at 747 am and finished at 215 pm with all souls accounted for.
