21.01.2022 Sunday mornings are for hanging out with the boys trough cleaning pasture checking crop checking and giving the dogs a run and the most important job of all checking the ewes which willing start lambing in just over a month

17.01.2022 Today at Wycheproof we sold the last of our commercial Border Leicester Merino ewe lambs from our 2018 May June lambing ! These ewes were scanned in lamb to Induro White Suffolk Rams 142% to lamb Mid July until Mid September. With all animal health up to date and presented only one month off shears the ewes looked very smart and besides one lot of XB Ewes and Lambs at foot which made $370, our ewes were the next best price at the market selling at $296 to Horsham !... It hasn’t been easy to carry these sheep and join them up during the summer and autumn months but all the hard work has paid off With the breeding, fertility & functionality of our sheep we can be sure they will leave a smile wherever they go. Massive kudos must go to the gang at home for all the hard work feeding and presenting the sheep

17.01.2022 Lock it in Our annual production sale is on Friday the 4th of October at Sandhill Lake, Kerang ! We will have 35-40 top of the drop rams available at the sale and they will present in ideal working condition. All rams will be muscle scanned, micron tested, backlined, drenched, and Gudair vaccinated while the stud is Brucellosis accredited. Rams that perform in all conditions with clients topping Blue Ribbon breeders sales at Bendigo, Ballarat & Kyneton ... Our great friends at Ellesmere will also have 20-25 Poll Dorset’s rams available at the sale sale also. These rams are industry relevant with commercial lambs bred by the Gitsham family yielding up to 51%! With all your ram needs able to be filled on one day make sure you don’t miss out. Joining has also finished with a scanning to come and hopefully some good results with the two new sires purchased last year !
