23.01.2022 **IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** The news you’ve all been waiting for! On Saturday July 4th (our ninth birthday!!) the restaurant will be reopening, however with a few changes: - There will be limited seats available to ensure distancing occurs, so booking is recommended to avoid disappointment - Tuesday’s we will have one sitting from 6:30 onwards for the next few weeks, Wednesday to Saturday’s we will endeavour to have two sitting to accomodate more people, bookings recommended.... - As the restaurant opens again we will no longer be doing restaurant meals via takeaway, only meals that are on our takeaway menu will be available for takeaway! We would like to say a huge thank you to our staff who have been amazing over this time, and our customers for their support and patience. 23.01.2022 With the roadmap to recovery outlined by the Government recently we would like to touch base with you all. Firstly, we would like to express how grateful we are for the support we have been shown in this difficult time and we feel so fortunate to have stayed busy. We have made the necessary changes to allow our staff to work as safely as possible and would like to commend them for their efforts in what has been a stressful time. Despite the recommendations released in the r...oadmap to recovery, for the foreseeable future we have made the decision to remain trading as we are currently take away only (no restaurant). This allows us to continue to accommodate as many of our loyal customers as we can whilst ensuring our social distancing practices remain. We hope you can all be understanding! We will update our Facebook page as soon as we are opening the restaurant! If you are loving our full menu minus steaks and desserts at the moment get in while you can! Once we re open the restaurant we will have to go back to our takeaway menu only! 17.01.2022 **IMPORTANT INFORMATION** In response to the latest guidelines and regulations regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, for the foreseeable future we will be open for TAKE AWAY only. We will be putting the following measures in place to ensure the safety of our customers and staff: * We are expanding our take away area to the bar located in the restaurant (as well as our normal take away area) to ensure distancing requirements are met and to avoid crowding... * If you’d like to wait in your car for your order we will happily deliver your meals to the car park, provided you call us on pick up time and let us know what bay number of the car park you are in * We request no cash - eftpos payments only and if possible contactless (payWave, Tap&Go etc) * As well as our normal take away menu, our restaurant only meals will be available for take away (excluding steak & desserts), however please appreciate at times stock may run low and meals may not be available - we will try our best! *These measures may at time put our timings out a little but please remember our staff are working hard in these difficult times! 12.01.2022 I would like to thank you all for your kindness and support over the last couple of weeks while I have been away from work! I have been given the tick of approval to head back to work on light duties. A special thank you needs to go to my wonderful staff that have stepped up for Adam and myself whilst I have been recovering from surgery! They are the ones that are working hard day in and day out for you all when I have had a trillion things going on over the last few years. I...t was so lovely to be able to step away and know they were up to the task. I look forward to being back on the pans and cooking for you all! We understand it is a stressful time for many at the moment! We will do our best to run as smoothly and as close to normal as possible for as long as we can! 09.01.2022 **Important trading changes for the coming month!** After seven years of having many gallbladder attacks during service which often put me to the ground, we finally have the confirmation it is infact gallstones and my gallbladder needs to come out! This surgery is scheduled for tomorrow 27/02/20 and has come along very quickly. We have some important information to share regarding our trading for the next few weeks: ... * This Thursday 27th, Friday 28th and Saturday 29th we are open as normal minus steaks! * From Tuesday 3rd of March onwards we will be open for takeaways only, until I am given the all clear. We are hoping for this to be a maximum of two weeks and then I will slowly work myself back into the kitchen, though we will run for the remainder of the month without steaks on the menu. We understand this may cause some disappointment but also know you will all understand and you can still get that takeaway to keep you happy in the mean time! 07.01.2022 Happy Easter from all of us at Tower! After what has been a crazy few weeks we will be taking our annual Easter time off like normal! We are all looking forward to an extra couple of days off to re-energise our bodies and some de-stressing is definitely on the cards! Thank you to everyone that is following our new rules that have been put into place! The Tower team is doing a great job adapting to many different scenarios we have put into place! 04.01.2022 Important announcement To our valued customers, after nine and a half years in business our time is coming to an end! In what has been an emotional week, Adam and I would like to share with you the news that Tower has been sold! Our time has come to focus solely on the next chapter of our lives and hopefully get that family we so desperately want! Our final working day as owners will be December 19 and after a well-earned Christmas break we will all return in early January t...o continue to support the new owners transition! Locals Kellie and Damian have our full support and we couldn't be happier to hand the keys over to the experience and enthusiasm they will bring to Tower! No need to stress as they are here to keep Tower running just as well of a night and continue to support our team of local staff! I feel such relief to be leaving Tower in their capable hands and know you will all love them and support them the same way you have us! We cannot thank you all enough for the continued support over the last nine and a half years! It at times has been a roller coaster! So many of you have become friends and like family to us, and we will walk away sad but fulfilled at what we have created in the time we have been here! We have enjoyed seeing families grow, birthdays being celebrated, wedding receptions and everything in between! I look forward to being able to say our good byes in the coming weeks and also reminiscing on all our favourite Tower stories! Just excuse any tears you see! Tahnee
