22.01.2022 We recently had the opportunity to workshop with students to develop a brief for a new building at St Paul’s School. The students were able to clearly identify the learning spaces which inspired them, resulting in a building brief which has the needs of students at its core. At Towill, we learn from our clients every day and they continue to inspires us!

19.01.2022 Towill Team are grateful to prepare the vision for final stage to complete our Montessori Learning Environment at Caboolture Montessori School. The 1st stage of the building was completed in 2016 and was designed to be infilled in stages in collaboration with students and staff. Our team were inspired to create an environment which emulated beauty, order, reality and simplicity. An environment which enhances children’s independence and allows children of mixed ages to work together.

18.01.2022 More addition to the Towill office as we had Autex Cube Panels installed to improve acoustics and aesthetics in the office. A big thank you to Autex Australia Pty Ltd for providing our lovely etched pinboards!

07.01.2022 Photos taken on site during testing of LED lighting on the perforated screens to be installed externally in the new STEM Building at Ipswich Grammar School. The LED colours are programmable and will provide opportunities for students to interact with the lighting design as part of their experience within the new building.

07.01.2022 This week Towill Team members Sam and Emily joined Paynters and school staff to walk through the new Junior Learning Centre at Milton State School. Now that the scaffolding is down and the internal sheeting is up, the building is starting to take shape! Stay tuned to watch this project progress into the final stages of construction.

07.01.2022 Construction of the new STEM Facility at Ipswich Grammar School has commenced with Rohrig Constructions providing the first glimpses of the presentation space starting to take form with the first of the concrete structure being poured. We will be keeping you updated on the progress of this exciting project over the next few months.

06.01.2022 We are excited to announce that Towill Design's latest residential project at Sandgate has been completed! Rachel and Emily visited site last week to celebrate our wonderful clients settling into their new home. The refurbishment of the existing workers cottage and addition of a two story extension has created a series of defined living spaces, separated by location and levels, but connected through sightlines and glazing. 01.01.2022 A sustainable approach to design is central to the philosophy of Towill Design, a mindset was shared by the client throughout the design and construction of the St Paul’s School - Early Learning Centre. Re-purposing existing materials are the colourful reading chairs which feature native Australian animals theme. These chairs were purchased second hand and re-covered in surplus tea towels that were no longer appropriate for sale.
